Does anyone know the clearance rules say Weeds has signed elsewhere can Cove hold him?? He played all his juniors there.. I don't know the rule!!!
Statham would be a huge in for any side in the SFL has he signed with Brighton...
Will Flagstaff release size to another SFL club do we think? If they don't obviously like Cove they rate him 2!!

Flaggies may not release Size because as he played all his juniors with the club, he is required to give 3 years senior service before being cleared to another SFL club. Will be interesting because Flaggies may take the stance and make him come back or sit out for a year, rather than him playing for an opposition club!

Big boy, who struggles with fitness, having to sit out a year? May not come back from a year out too well!

They wouldn't clear him last year when he tried to leav, although he had already lodged a couple of games for the year which is understandable. But from what I hear from within the club they will release him as they see the fact that he doesn't want to be there so why keep him. A couple of Flaggies players on here have already said the club will clear him. They have a new coach who won't take any sh*t from players and with Matt's attitude they'll let him walk.
I guess being a big bloke has some advantages when negotiating with clubs...

Think you'll find that Cal......??? is living in WA for the next year and will miss the season. Lippa was a gun junior has he not adapted to senior or has he had injuries etc

i dont think the SFL website has been updated in the last year!

Visit this site, it is the SFL footy tipping comp for 2008, not the best way to view round by round and won't be able to print the fixture but each game is on there.

That will do the trick.... Go to the Program 2008 on the left hand side, should be able to find your way from there.

Cove to play Goolwa in a trial match, will be good to compare last seasons wooden spooners from the GSFL with a top 4 side from the SFL. I don't think Goolwa will be to far off the mark.

I presume that you are being a little sarcastic with that comment right?? Goolwa would not get within 10-15 goals of Cove and even thats being a little generous.

What does everyone think about Sunday games during the season? Is it worth the effort for clubs with C grade and subbies who have to provide support staff at several venues on the one day?
