yes just another mistake from this committiee, did question before about letting teams back into competion, not sharing finals around, having teams play other clubs twice before playing another teams once. This league could and should be so much better.

I hear that Porties have been trying hard to poach opposition players on the back of a few retirements and a few possible departures...........
What are the g.f. tips boys ....i reckon the Wineflies can knock off the Emus in what should be a great game. Conditions could be tough and the wind will play a big part down at south adelaide ....

the medal must be based on who can run the fastest cos bachmann runs the ball 40m with his pace and then kicks it 50m up in the air and 30m in distance if he was the best player in the league its a joke

in all fairness to andrew that isnt his fault, he played at south for a few years including a few league games in 2002, he has pace to burn and knows how to get the footy but his disposal has been the one thing that used to let him down, well done by him - that makes three medals won by christies beach including the c grade medal won by nathan james, the club also had the winner of the u16 medal i think from memory won by george marshall. How must have josh vick felt? absolute terrible balls up by the league hierachy - i think they need a clean out from the top down.

I HEAR THAT SOME OF THE BOTTOM CLUBS HAVE PLENTY OF MONEY TO SPEND, AND HAVE ALREADY SIGNED UP SOME QUALITY PLAYERS. IT WILL BE INTERESTING TO SEE IF THAY CAN BE MORE OF A FORCE THIS YEAR.

Yes i have heard the same and Fidgey is obviously hanging around next year. He has been in the ear of quite a few blokes and it wouldnt surprise to see them rise up the ladder again next year. Already secured a few of the guys who chased the money and left Marion a few years back and having a guy of John Fidges profile will help in recruiting players .......

Porties also trying to rape the clubs in close proximity to them and rumoured to be losing a few so should have some spare cash to throw around .... Also heard that Bache is finished at Noarlunga and missing the finals after forking out all that dough signed his death warrant.

Have heard that Blackwood has shown some interest in changing to the Southern League next year ....anyone heard of any other teams that have shown interest ??? The League forced 1 division and is now trying to do a backflip and go back to a 2 div comp ...... Too late as we have already lost Kangies, have 2 teams on their last legs and forced Lonsdale and OSB to merge !! Thanks again to another ballsup from the Southern League committee ...... how do these guys sleep at night ??? You are turning the second strongest League in S.A. into a laughing stock so give yourselves another pat on the back !!

The way I understood it was that the SFL approached Blackwood about playing in the SFL in the future. With the recent Hills stuff up with regard to the finals maybe Blackwood might look at it more seriously? I don't believe Blackwood are in a finacial position to move to Ametuers although I am told that is where they would like to end up (but I could be wrong).

The problem with Blackwood is that they currently field 4 senior sides and unless SFL move back to 2 divisions there will be about 50 blokes missing out on a game of footy at Windy Hill so I imagine that will have a fair bit to do with any decision to move to the SFL.

blackwood president is pushing for anything to take away from their disappointing season as a club and their bad coaching appointments and 15-20 players leaving the club
