Bruce ive never heard anyone from Willunga say they are the 'Best' country footy side going around. I do remember the way you guys carried on after beating us by 2 points in rd 18 tho.

Even if Cove belt us what does that mean? Goolwa beat Cove in a trial this season just gone! Trial game form is worth about as much as ur comments!

Where did u hear this Knuckle? We are playing 3 trials, Porties, Cove and Uraidla i believe. Mt Lofty have approached us to have a trial but i believe we declined the offer as we usually play 3 trials but with this messenger cup weve had to change the MV game to Hallett Cove.

Only the Cove game due to the Messenger cup, thats the only change and if it werent for that i dont think anything would be different.

Not sure on the exact score of the Pt Noarlunga trial but we won, MV we beat by a point and Uraidla we beat by about 4 goals i think. Trial form once again is not a true indication, all sides are trying things, players out of position and resting/cricket etc.

Yeah last years game was mid feb from memory. This year it's only a couple of weeks before the season proper so the game should provide a better indication of where the teams are at.

Go you Demons! :snakeman:

I think the game was March 8? Our Preseason had to be brought forward 2 weeks due to this. Was a great initiative and one we loved being involved with. This year we will have a curtain raiser to our game in the form of South Adelaide v North Adelaide before the main game that starts at 3pm on March 21

March the 8th.
We had a wedding and couldn't attend.
Wasn't it something like 400 degrees or something, hottest day ever.
Bet you'll be hoping for better playing 'conditions' this year BJ O:)

400 degrees is a bit over the top A Mum. :)
But yes it was in the middle of the heat wave, and it was very hot.

Correct. Every quarter break there was a rush for the bar inside the clubrooms because the air con was cranking. I left at quarter time of the AFL game to go to the beach.
