Ithink Hilly will certainly have a few clubs ring him and i hope he coaches again.Great coach and good bloke. He is a genuine CLUB COACH in that he works hard on the juniors and their developement as well as the seniors.Has been coaching along time and has been successful at other clubs as well as the Emus so his experience will be valuable at another club.Would not be surprised to see him in the GSFL as A grade coach at a club down there.

Hill was mentioned in the same sentence as Goolwa in a previous thread. Goolwa has re-signed their current coach but he has always said that he would move aside for a better applicant. With Greg Wilson (former MV President) involved at Goolwa is this a possibility?

Not 100% sure but i dont think Keamy left Reynella on the best of circumstances.... If i were aldinga i would be doing everything in its power to try and get him back to the sharks in 2009.

i dont think Keamy is planning on moving at the moment i reckon he would be happy coaching in the SANFL for now

Mex, I heard a rumour that the vacant Morphett Vale A grade job was offered to Coxy, but he turned it down due to being offered a development role with Glenelg again next year. Is this why you were so adament that he was staying at Glenelg, because you knew he turned down the Emu's offer?

Would have been a great get as he is an awesome coach.

Ive got no problem with this, wouldnt mind seeing Marion become a force like they were in the late 90's (more strong clubs the better) as long as they dont pilfer players from SFL clubs to do this!

There were 2 Exelbys running round in those days, which one is Daniel? The older onballer?

Daniel is the rover/FP type, Brett was more of a stocky centreman (coaching Renmark).

Correct, Daniel is the older brother, who looks much much much older than the younger Brett.

Dan resembles a Kenyan marathon runner (minus the tan) these days, believe he is on the rice bubble diet... runs all day at the one pace also (no different to when he was 17)... still cant kick over a jam tin either :D

May not happen immediately with the Rams, however in his time up @ Ironbank in the HFL he was able to double the playing group as far as available numbers goes (not always training numbers, but they added a C grade side for the last 2 years & filled it with ease)... applies himself extremely well to the recruiting side of things, to the point where a few recruits WAG's were concerned about the volume of strange phone calls coming thru at all hours of the eveing haha... he will rebuild & provide the depth Marion have been lacking lately...

He's a likeable bloke & anybody who knows him would agree that you'd only dislike him if you've played against him... will do good things down there for sure... and a long family history associated with the club , the heart is in it also!

So called players??? Well he aint gonna recruit netballers mate (as much as he'd like to)... not concerned about your spot are ya champ, detecting a bit of attitude with that question?

Wouldn't have thought he'd be in a position to make that call just yet, only recently appointed & all... would have to sit down with the crew & discuss where they need the most improvement... that is probably everywhere in light of recent results.

LOL 2Old2Slow welcome to the SFL thread, 2 SFL posts and 2 laughs from CT! Firstly coz of the comment about Daniel looking infinitely older than his brother (i had written but deleted something similar when asking the question which one was coaching) and now dealing with the needlessly hostile mrf. Looking forward to post number 3...!
