Well I think the straw finally broke the camels back yesterday because they'll be a different outfit next year. Sounds like an exodus at the RFC.

I actually thought Butcher was a pretty handy player for the Winnies yesterday.....

Agree he was effective as Johnstone. Now Reynella have thrown away another 3k, maybe he wont stay there next year and go to another club...have the bombers got the cash? Butcher would be worth it..

Do Brighton really need to do something like that? From the outside seems as tho Francis has decided to put faith in the young kids coming thru that are loyal bombers and it seems to have done the trick. Very similar to what Morphies decided to do 5 years ago. I think Reynella have provided proof that big names dont neccessarily mean big wins. I think the Wineys should look to this years Grand finalists for where they want their club to go. No big money imports or part time A graders just guys doing their best for the club.

As much as I would like to see Brighton win the flag this year, I seriously cant see it happening. If its a nice day, Morphett Vale by 10+ goals with Beeching kicking 8, and one of the Bayly boys winning the medal for BOG.

I think lack of heart, desire and not knowing what a winning feeling is would be more accurate. Maybe you are new to the club, but Reynella simply do not know how to win when it comes to the crunch.
Back to the drawing boards mate, at least you will have a new squad to chose from next year if all the rumours about your players are true.
Well done Bombers...bring on Saturday! The two best sides are meeting this week which is a great result for the comp.

Obvioulsy you are still drunk from the RMFL Grand Final. When will we see you coach at MVFC seeing as though you are such an astute judge on SFL matters and especially the Flys. It must be comfortable watching the match from the comfort of your car. I didn't see the Bombers finish second after the minor round so how can they be the second best side??

The two best sides in the best current form are playing on saturday. The minor round means nothing now. There just the games you play to get you to GF day.

Gee Hound thats a 'pearler' of a comment. I dont think you need to be a brain surgeon to know that Reynella cant win when it comes to the crunch...history tells us that!
Why do you always have to look on the 'dark' side? Got anything constructive to add to the forum, or are you 'retiring' your comments again?
As you know, some sides finish top at the end of the season and dont bring home the chockies...

Yank have a couple of good players, two of which are imports so they may go and the other two decent players are local who I doubt very highly would leave the club. S they might get two players but it will come at a cost. With the new points system in place GSFL clubs will be forced to throw a bit more cash at import players to try and reatin their services, it's more viable for the club that way.
The only time i've ever been wrong...was when I thought I was wrong!!!

Bayliss may head elsewhere next year, perhaps the SFL. Francis has already expressed interest in his services and if it's the guy i'm thinking of he's been down watching the Bombers play the last two weeks.
So maybe Size would be a good pick up for Encounter Bay.

Some of the younger boys around the club were saying he won the clubs B&F on the weekend so look out for the Bombers next year if the rumours are true! Two GF's in a row!!!

I love it....finally we have some supporters on board.....what did I tell ya....when the boys need to perform the crowd will come.....anyone down at Christies on the weekend would have seen the Bombers contingent and how much noise they were making in the last quarter - certainly spurred the boys on......on the other side of the deck the Reynella crowd were very quite for most part of the day......

Carn you bombers.......and its great to see almost all other clubs are on the Bombers this weekend and hoping they get up.......

Put the chardonnay back in the wine rack, close down the art galleries and craft markets...Brighton supporters are on their way to watch a game of footy!!! hooorrrayyyyy!!!

Make sure you leave your poodles at home, hold on to your handbags and lock your BMW's...and no caffe latte at Panther Park either...just Nescafe in foam cups!

When you look at the differences Morphies must be considered to be the home team!

Nah you should be right Franky, just stick to the main arterials South road then onto beach road, then follow your nose from there and you'll be fine. My other suggestion to beat the hassle is to park your Range Rover in Colonnades car park across the road from the oval, i hear the security is exceptional down there... Pays to play things safe when heading down south...

Its only subtle differences from the Brighton area really. Instead of Jetty Road you have Beach Road, instead of the Holdy you've got the Lonny. You and the sweaters will love it.
