Dennis was happy with parts of the game...not that there were many good parts in my opinion.

How was Despott that night? He seemed a bit cut that I tagged him. I dont reckon hes the superstar everyone says he is.

No Matty was all good and I did notice he was heavilly tagged. Are you the lad I seen doubled over a number of times due to the heavy tag????
Good luck mate for the rest of the year and am sure you learnt from running with Matty as I do believe Matty to be one of the premier rovers in this comp.

Yeah i was the one copping hits behind the play all the time (my user name kinda narrows down who i am)...you have quite a dirty side there mate. Matty couldnt get a kick on me so he decided to throw cheap punches, notice how the second time i was down was about 100m away from the play??...and every couple of seconds id have someone elses elbow in my ribs...hes a bit of a protected species...not that i wasnt expecting snipers...still reckon keeping arguably your best player and captain to that many kicks and kicking a goal myself wasnt a bad effort. My advice to other teams, if hes getting kicks, just put someone that can run, dont need good skills, just tough enough to cop it all day and still stay with him. I was happy with my contribution.

Matty can certainly play but sounds like you went alright good work HH3. Things may be different next time knowing Matty he will not ever be an easy beat, even if it means throwing a few loose ones around ;)

Just unfortunate the rest of your team couldn't shut their players down aswell.

 JUDDY! If only he could run as fast as him. All he does is get's into his old shuffle and stays at that pace all day. Gets to every contest though. Did he give himself that nickname!

What position is he playing these days?

Nah we gave it to him coz he wears his carlton gurnsey to training all the time.

Hes been playing HB and Center lately. Getting heaps of the ball and laying big tackles and stuff too.

I wouldve liked to have seen him play before he turned 100...woulda been a superstar.

Was always a great player, Playing on the ball all day, great skills and can read the play very well. Couldn't really crack it in the A's in the Hawks hey Days, just couldn't handle the bigger and faster bodies around the ball cause he wasn't the stockiest of blokes. But absolutely dominated B grade with numerous B&F's to his name. :)

Gonna try and pop down and watch uz beat Crusties saturday as we have a night game at the Vale! :D

No don't think so. I reckon it was Greg that won the C's B&F. Doug is the younger of the three. But, Greg can play no doubt about it. Loves the Torp, and he must'nt know how to handball, was very shocked if i ever saw a hand ball come out of him  !!

The game at christies wasnt good but there were some positives to take out of it. We came out and did absolutely nothing in the first half. Second half we kept christies to 9 goals. The weather had died down a fair bit by time the A grade took to the field but the wind was strong and changing directions. We wouldve liked to have what the 18s played in, where you couldnt see 20m in front of you and gale force winds. Wouldve made for a very interesting game. If we can put together a full game like our first half against shoeys and our second half against christies we may be able to come away with a much needed win this week against Dingy. Its gonna take a lot of work from everyone to do it tho.
