i dont reckon you will get blokes giving out that sort of info on here in the lead up to the first week of finals. I would be keeping it prety close to my chest and i would think the coaches would be prety pissed off if they found out that any of their possible plans or placements had been given out but ya never know

Heard a whisper that Beeching knee is no good (requires recon??) Also Pollard stuffed his shoulder again and big Ruckman may have some off field issues that may prevent him from playing.... anyone know anything else about this?

Would still think hard to knock off, but if there is a time now may well be it.

Interesting you say all this qwerty, you'll have to make the trek to Noarlunga oval and find out first hand. Reckon that Aldinga and Noarlunga ovals will be as good as it gets for tomorrows finals, should be a great day which ever ground you all end up at... Go the Emu's...

The rain last night, although light, hopefully soften up the ovals a bit for this weekends games. Also on a quick note: I know our A's trained on Aldinga oval last night, and heard a rumour that a certain b grade side trained there on tuesday. whats everyone's opinion? Come Saturday will it be a determining factor? Guess we'll know by 5pm tomorrow. looking forward to some close games this week.

Wrong sharky, from what i hear the EMU b grade trained at emu park tuesday night..
its not uncommon for teams to train on bigger grounds in finals time, dont know who your source is but their wrong.

Cove had their chances had alot more scoring shots than Reynella but were woeful in front of goals, one of the Reavill's missed quite a few easy goals and Weiderman also missed a easy shot 15m out directly in front. Reynella took their chances and looked dangerous everytime ball went forward. Milo played well started in midfield before moving forward and kicked some nice goals, Vick for Cove not noticed in first half although lifted in second half to get Cove back in game. Smith did the job on Ramsey. Overall Reynella hit the ball harder and had alot better skills especially when entering the 50. Wouldn't write off Cove just yet.

geez bay boy - you weren't a part of the valleys or cove teams were ya? massive losses for them..

bloody M.V too good again!!! they would almost be unbackable for another flag you'd reckon. odds on M.V vs Reynella in the GF ......... but season definitely not over yet and you couldnt write off cove, i reckon the vikings arent good enough - but thats my opinion.

Well knowing full well (from painfull experience) that the Valley don't play Noarlunga at all well I travelled down to aldinga and watched Cove V Reynella.

A good game, as expected, with Reynella leading at halftime and then a third quarter blitz by Cove to put the result in doubt. An absorbing last quarter.

A couple of humurous aspects to the day: Cove turned up together in a small 50 year old rattle-trap bus with 'Alberton Primary School' emblazoned down the side. Now geography was never my strong point but Hallett Cove by my estimation is only 20 minutes down the road (I had to travel past HC to get there myself and the whole journey only took half an hour).
That must have been a rivetting journey home again.
The second one concerned the rooms. Reynella B's had Aldinga's rooms because they finished higher but the always thinking SFL had Reynella A's in the opposite rooms. Common sense prevailed and the A's used the same rooms but you should have heard the sqealing from the Cove mob...it was absolutely embarrassing. I even heard their renowned coach have a huge dummy spit about it to an SFL official. You would have thought they had more to worry about than that wouldnt you? My dim recollection of the rooms at aldinga are that they are mirror image so what would it matter?
