Ill ignore that comment Zooman since i think you talk shit the whole time anyway and am pretty sure most other people think that too.

Edwardstown were good yesterday but I think they're about the standard of last years Reynella team. I think they will have a hard time against Cove, Brighton, Morphies and Happy Valley.

They have a good running game and two good marking forwards. Didnt really get a good look at their defence so cant really comment on that.

The Hackham boys put in a pretty good effort. Im really proud of the boys. We are looking to the future with the young fellas. We had 13 players 20 or under. I think it was something like 5 or 6 senior debutants as well. They all put in everything they had, hit the contest hard as. After the game some of them commented on how much faster the game is and how much longer we play with time on.

I think we will have good hit outs with Lonsdale and maybe Aldinga.

not 100% sure. everybody knew what we were up against. he was pleased with the fight of the players, as were the townie supporters who clapped the boys off. there were some good signs but will see how we go against the rest of the league.

Im so spewing I missed the "bump of the century" by you smelly...i sure heard a lot about it that night...from you ;)

The 16s played a really good game of footy. Its great to beat the reigning premiers in Round 1. Hopefully Hackham are the bench mark in the 16s now. Will have to wait and see how they go over the remaining rounds.

Big Wacker has had a few injuries and work commitments that have not helped him but he has been great to have around to pass his knowledge on to some of the lads.

it has been pulled from the competition. we had all the people behind the scenes wanting it to work but some of the boys were not willing to put in the hard yards. it is a bit unfortunate but we cant make the kids want to do something they dont want to.

The team was made up of mostly U/16s playing up and U/18s that play As or Bs as well so now the 16s will stay in 16s and the 18s are considered seniors and are up for selection week in week out from now on. That is a very good thing to have because the ones that put in the work will get a game, and the seniors will actually have to work harder to keep their spot.
