Emus won by about 3 goals. Butcher didnt play for the winelflies. heard hes done a calf muscle and wont play the next couple. ($2000 well spent????) Milo didnt play either. Emus had Gaskin and Beeching out.

Butcher back this week for the flies, any truth to the rumour that Beeching out for the year? needs another knee reco.

What are your thoughts about yesterday SFL SPY? Even in the last 1/4 when morphies failed to kick a goal the end result never really seemed in question. Both teams had key players out - just seems that Morphies have it mentally over Reynella at the moment.

Was Farrier BOG for the wineys?

I wouldn't say they have it mentally over us, we had our chances in the last quarter but failed to kick straight, we had 4 easy shots at goal for 4 points in the last quarter (Bradshaw 1, Threadgold 1 and Prescott 2.) if we had kicked those we would have come away with the points but I suppose you can say if, if, if all you want we still didn't win. Morphett Vale are very beatable and we know we can beat them, all we need to do is fix up a few costly mistakes that we made in the corridor and a few of decision making errors and it's a new ball game.

Luke Ciampa got best for us, Fazz was 5th.

But if he isn't right, will he still play to qualify for finals or is this week the last week to test it?

I heard that Reynella tried to name him in the C Grade yesterday but they didnt have enough numbers and had to forfeit so yesterdays team sheet didnt count.

Reynella should concentrate on not getting pumped by Cove again before thinking about beating Morphett Vale. The Emu's were in cruise control... same as last year and the year before that and the year.......

Heard their players had a vote and knocked it back Messenger says that they will be relegated back to Div 2 no mention of league change

Yeh, i would be very surprised if Edwardstown went to the SFL. Blackwood seems more realistic to me. I heard there have been some very serious meetings between Blackwood and the SFL.
