The Butcher thing overall has been well enough accepted although some feel that the 22nd player that will miss out due to his inclusion will be interesting when it happens come finals time and everyone is pushing for selection, i guess they are just hoping it is not a stalwart who has done all the work. Time will tell on that one.

The other 2 points of interest that were discussed were how well the coach has settled in, without going too deep i guess it would be fair to say not everyone will embrace his ideas and systems as long as he can keep the majority on the same wavelength they should get over this, have never heard of their coach before so i can't personally make a comment, does anyone have a backgorund on him and where he has coached before..?? Success..?? and Longevity..??

Last point and probably the most interesting was in reference to a recent posting re Milo's injury, seems as though there may be some substance to his early exit.. Most on here have played the game so i am finding it hard to believe that he left the ground because he was intimidated but it was intimated that there is a common theme when it comes to performing for his teammates on the big stage... Interesting to see if he plays this week... If it is a hammy surely not...

The coach is Dave Evans, he coached South Clare the last 2 years, lost 3 games in 2 seasons, made the GF both years 1 win and 1 loss, had involvement with Glenelg before coaching.
As far as his ideas and systems are going it's the first time in a few years the club has had a game plan to try and work with, I think you'll find out if you ask the senior players and leadership group that they are fully behind the coach and coaching staff and they are all on the same wavelength. As for Milo he has twinged his hammy and will miss this week, he might be right for the morphett vale game not sure, who have cove got to intimidate anyone? I don't think any team in the SFL has any intimidaters?.

The players i spoke with were more than happy with Mark Wyatt and were disappointed he moved on. The majority of players i spoke with are senior players, not sure if they are part of any leadership group though, i also got the impression there are different "groups" at the wineys, where certain players do not socialise outside of training/game time with each other, not saying there is a dislike for each other but more so that they don't "bond" outside of footy.

As for the intimidation "rumour" with Milo, i personally don't believe it because even if he was i'm certain he wouldn't tell anyone, what these guys were saying was more of a frustration that he seems to get soft tissue injuries at the wrong times. The last intimidator the league saw was Adam Goodrich from Porties. Gee could he throw his weight around, he would've loved playing in the 70's.

We know you try hard dogs but its hard to be scared of a bloke with a pink sweater draped round his shoulders sipping a latte! Make it a Powder Blue sweater and a Shandy and you might get a few young brighton lads quaking in the boots?

Tedmanson, named for south reserves this week, this would hurt porties chances against the emus if he doesnt play

That will be a big blow to Porties. He usually takes Pollard so you would think he would get the ton this week.

Im sure this will start some rumours that T.Potts is doing his best to help out his old side........

By the sounds of whats going on out at South I'd say T. Potts just wants the best side he can so he can put forward a strong argument to take over the league side next year Pyman is on borrowed time and if he loses a bunch of players that are fed up with the admin down there it could be interesting for some of the better players in the SFL to get a chance
