Add Piva, Reich and M. Riddle who played 3 qtrs last year + a handy group of coaches coming and the foundations have been laid that's for sure.

They definitely won't finish last again, that's for sure. Mitch is a good addition if he can stay fit.

Matt Pethick was a very good junior coach, glad he's got the gig, and Gav Riddle has been around for a very long time.

Saints? Cobras? Iron Bank?

Shoes Emus Sharks all look far of it at this stage.

Cockledivers a chance of dropping out?

Can't see the Cockledivers getting any worse considering they've picked up a few guns and from all reports have retained their best 22 from season 2024. Looking at the results, but not the teamsheet on the day, Porties were only 20-30 points off Reynella on both occasions...however, Flaggy destroyed them in Rd 11 and the first final by 90+.

Definitely going to be a competitive season and the standard should be relatively high between the top 6-7 teams.

Cockledivers from the bits i saw might be good in the first 18 rounds but then can be stopped in the finals. A few guns and then a drop off.

Anyone heard of a big rumored out at the Wineflies?

I did hear the Whitbread would be playing only a handful of games, not sure if this is the rumour you are talking about?

I think that's been the story for most of the off-season. They've added a couple but there's quite a few outs, confirmed and unconfirmed.

Cove have announced Roger Morris on their socials, I'm presuming this is the fella. Another very good in from the looks of it and I think it's fair to say the Cobras have won the off-season. Lot's of new talent. Haven't seen any signings for Reynella - will Agnew and Nicholls play South? Whitbread and Boreholm reported to be outs...the Wineflies may drop off a little. Happy Valley keeping their recruits off social media but have got the paperwork done for Cooper Rogers, Darrell Tucker and Nick Kraemer. Cooper Greening also back to HV from Cove.

Yep, agreed. Quite a Brighton flavour on the coaching panel.

Hopefully the culture issues are a long lost thing.

True. One thing about finishing last is there's only one direction to travel.
