Exactly players know the rule now and have adjusted their tactics accordingly.....non issue in my book.

But aren't you talking about the deliberate out of bounds interpretation used in the AFL Shoe Boy?

What the SFL/GSFL are bringing in is the "last touch out of bounds free kick to opposition" rule as used by the SANFL. So it takes deliberate or not deliberate out of the equation. This may finally send Peachy into retirement because some of his touch finding mongrel floaters will now come at a cost.

I watch about as much SANFL footy as I do Water Polo so is the last touch rule only from a kick. What happens in the case of an errant handball, spoil, or player in possession getting pressured over the boundary line. Is that still a throw in?

Less throw ins from 13 - 15 year old panel boundary umpires should at least make you happier Shoe Boy.

It's last clear disposal over the line

kick, handball, errant kick or handball ball that takes a "un-kind" bounce and crosses the boundary line the opposition team gets possession.

If it's touched, "fumbled" accidentally knocked over the line it's a throw in.

SFL AGM ,we watched a video and the rules where very inconsistent .

This example is a free kick this is not !!! WTF didn't notice a lot of difference .

They're all junior girls. Moving to a league where they can get better competition against more teams. At this stage the SFL can't facilitate that. Nothing sinister, just symptomatic of the early days of the girl's/women's comp.

Jet-airport One of the strengths of the footy club is the strong bond between 17.5 to A grade possibly due to the fact Bazz has them all training together as one with the exception on Thursday night the lads break into their grades for the last hour .

I will add most of the lads have played since minis and form a strong bond off field as their partners are also close friends .

The executive and football department are currently working through coaching roles within the whole of the Footy club .

Shane is part of the executive team in his role as V President and once all coaching roles are finalised I will post.

How many clubs are still trying to fill coaching positions? Surely clubs would want this sorted before Xmas.

Noarlunga putting in a special request for not having to play the grand final rematch on the Sunday is weak. The fact the SFL accepted it and it isn't happening next year is even worse. The reasoning being that they'll lose too much money back at the club for presos on a Sunday night not a Saturday. I wasn't at Noarlunga's AGM but I have good feeling the difference between them being in the black and not the red isn't the difference in one night of presentations being on a Sunday.

Thought FH did a great job hosting this year too.
