SFL will be named tomorrow night, they would be down to a squad of 25-27 by now.
Will be interesting to see the 17.5/Reynella association side,

Not the only club looking at other leagues - I reckon there are at least 3 leagues talking with SFL clubs. Maroon coats need to get there head out the sand

Reynella to SAAFL Div3. On the proviso they can keep their juniors in the SFL.
Marion to SAAFL Div7. Absolute no brainer
Lonsdale to SAAFL Div6. Need to move to become competitive and have some success.
Aldinga and Shoes both trying to get to GSFL my mail is it's either both or neither.
Happy Valley to hills league as they can't compete with Bushpigs and are in a serious rebuild as a club.

I can't see the SFL letting all these clubs move so wait for a big surprise from the SFL in the coming weeks......

Southern Hills League: (not a whole lot of thought put into it, just brainstorming while looking on google maps and vaguely judging current club strength....it's been a slow day!)

Div 2: Aldinga, Christies Beach, Kangarilla, Meadows, Macclesfield, Lonsdale, Happy Valley, Ironbank, Hackham, Cove

Div 1: Noarlunga, Port Noarlunga, Flagstaff Hill, Reynella, Morphett Vale, McLaren Vale, Blackwood, Hahndorf, Mt Barker, Echunga

Well done boys. Great to get one back on the GSFL. Im sure they will look to have the game played back on a massive oval next year so that they can play their style of football and not have to get a hard ball.

If that is the case and clubs appoint coaches who embrace the modern game of pace, high rotations and maintaining possession rather than kicking to a 50/50 contest we could see some exciting footy next year.
Will be critical clubs get this right otherwise they risk dropping further down the ladder and in Happy Valleys case there isn't much further to drop

Where was the Tribe bus on the wend?
You would of thought that this of all games would of be broadcast with a combination of GSFL and SFL .

Is it true that Valley and Flaggies have been in discussion with leagues outside the SFL?

Couldn't imagine Flaggies wanting to go anywhere, there sitting top and dominating most of the sat footy age groups and have a huge LOCAL sub junior base.
Travelling to Mt Barker and Torrens Valley etc etc wouldn't be high on my priority list if I was president "nutman" :D

Having a little "drive by "at your current coach F&C? :?

Hopefully the days of final score lines reading 4 - 8 to 3 - 9 in A grade are a thing of the past, although we have been blessed with some cracker weather so far this year.

Not sure why the Tribe bus wasn't there.
How are the talks going between Noarlunga and GSFL?

OME ,I can not speak for the NFC but can say I have never seen an appetite for change in my time from clubs sitting at the bottom of the table or on top . Clubs need to protect members , sponsors , and their community and will look at all avenues from within or outside and have a duty of care to do so including the SFL .
