I think most expect 5 in 3 years with the Rams to go for 2018. It will be interesting to see if any of the remaining top clubs approach GSFL, HFL or SAAFL.
With Brighton being the only club that contributed juniors to the league out of all 5 that have/will go it could be seen as a positive for the remaining clubs.
Tend to agree that it could be a positive Dutchy, the dysfunctional system of 2 x junior games playing at 1 place, an 18's game at another and 2 senior games somewhere else could not continue. Clubs resources were being stretched to breaking point.
My only concern as EV states, is if some top end clubs get sick of the SFL board and its ways and jump leagues to ensure their spot in a chosen comp, If this occurs, further depletion to our comp may result in the end of it.
For Example imagine Aldinga or a Shoes go to the GSFL or even a Valley or Flaggys to HFL along with the expected Marion move in 2018 to SAAFL.
Suggest the league work hard at keeping clubs in our league and adding a SUITABLE club to our league, as putting all your eggs in the Hackham basket has proven to be a costly waste of time.
