What has been wrong with him throughout the year- obviously injured. if fit he will expect to go straight back into A grade- probably without training!!

"The Roth" has been training the last few weeks actually had something with his leg keeping him out. I'd agree white Line Fever at its greatest haha Nice guy off field though. Dont know about tap ruckmen can do it very well but does insist on the big smash forward a little to much. Will be interesting Drew Graham has been great BOG first game in the A's and has been playing great footy since went from the B's to Association squad just by taking his chance. Paddy may have to serve in the B's for a while but defiently when footy is the only thing on his mind he is a great player.

Its all well and good to say once we beat them things will all change but it could just be that this current crop of Emus match up well against Cove just the same as Porties always seem to be able to push the emus. Certain styles of play might trouble them and while Cove are a good side maybe they just dont match up well?

TL

You said that Cove didn't have the best start but in a different post, JONO said they were 3 goals down and came back to be in front at 1/4 time. 3 Goals isn't a huge margin, so that isn't a bad start and to work your way back by 1/4 time is a good start.

What would have been the case if they didn't work back? More likely similar to last years prelim.

OTB - White wasn't dropped, he was actually just starting to get back to some of his best in the 1's, however, had couple drama's and needed to take a fortnight off from trainning and playing which is why he was in the 2's....He will improve them with his aggressive attack on the ball and helping relieve Vick on the ball so Vick can spend more time forward... Hare in form is a class act yes his kick let's him down but can find a heap of it and was picked in the association squad after playing just 1 game in the 1's, back in form will improve them... Padrroth back this week in the 2's game time into him will release Gill to play elsewhere an intimidator and rucks well.... There all in Cove's best fit in form 21...
Numbers - 3 goals to nil down does that warrant a good start?....Just cos they fought back to lead at qtr time doesn't mean they started well...

Any word on the saga down at The Rams after the fallout with senior coach and his mentioned visit to SFL house?

Cannot believe a club with ca$h & facilities that would rival SANFL clubs have not managed to get things back on track & regularly make finals appearances like years gone by... :?

In my view it does! If you come back before 1/4 time, the games in the balance and theres still plenty of time to play! I'm sure that if Cove kick 3 in row (as they did), Morphett Vale wouldn't have used that as an excuse.

You got no idea mate. Where was that an excuse fair sure we said or slow starts against these sides are costing us in the long term of a match it isnt helping our cause. We gave them a 3 goal start missed probally 2 or more easy goals/gettable goals but still went in with a small lead. People just ride everyone one off when they lose a couple of games just a mob of bandwagon riders.

That doesn't make sense mate! "Where was that an excuse fair sure we said or slow starts" what is that meant to mean. Saying that it costs you in the long term of a game is an excuse, the reason you lost is that you didn't score as manying goals as the oposition over 4 quarters. (Not just 1)
Also you might find that people don't ride them off they write them off!

No offence Navy2005 but are you related to Zelezny Chucks. Hes the only other person on this forum that brings up issues that have already been discussed 10 pages previous. It's more than likely that you just hadnt read that far back. which is fair enough..... I wonder what Zeleznys excuse is.

No offence taken your absolutely right. The reason I probably bring up issues already discussed is that I am posted in Sydney and just like to keep in touch with footy back home so my viewing of this forum is irregular to say the least. I apologise if that is annoying for you Lova. Have no idea who Zeleny Chucks is either

Lte's get onto this week, can't really see an upset any where, maybe Christies over Brighton but the others should be pretty straight foward.

Reynella 15 +
Noarlunga 30 +
BDOS any where from 1-5
Cove 30+
M/Vale 20+
Porties if dry i'm going 40+
Valley 10+

Go easy on the interstaters Lova... Trust me when i say you are better off not knowing who Zelezny is either, your life is better without him, i know him as far as his postings on this website and sounds to me as if he may be a stubby or 2 short of a 6 pack...
