How'd you go in Hotdog land "Franky", pretty glad i wasn't there with you.. No point trying to deflect the attention Dion by saying you are the Brighton ruckman, what Luke Stewart, the bloke that was playing C's at the Emu's before Brighton thought he could play.. Haven't seen the C's play for a while but perhaps Francis should be scouting these games to recruit a few more players for your A grade which will be required if you are to match Emus, Winey's or the Cobra's, enjoy your win, you're still a long way off.. I wonder how much cr*p we will listen to once your boys have made an early exit from this years finals..?? My bet is that it won't be much.. Bring on the Finals..

Lions A's By about 35 Goals. B's by about 25 Goals.. The teams playing them are interested, good Percentage booster.

Beating a side by 53 goals sounds like fun but i dont think ive ever done something more boring on a football field. If it was a once in a decade sort of job then it would had been a thrill to play in but a weekly basis is riducolous. There would be more of a contest if their A's played B grade and their B's played sunday C grade at least a few games would be competitve a little bit more. An A grade bye is better then 50 goal wins could this be an option whilst they improve? But have a system where heroes cant be dropped down to dominate.

I stood by their supporters for a good portion of the match, didn't stop whinging at all. Every free lonsdale got, they whinged, abused umpires etc from sidelines.
At this stage, they were up by about approx 12 goals, and still crying when free kicks that could go wither way went to Lonsdale.
I say, you're up by 12 goals or so, stop whinging, and get on with the game.

Not as professional? cannot agree with that. Wont bitch and complain let results do the talking. Supporters complain in every team if you think its just brighton you dont get out enough. What control does the playing group have on supporters??? NOTHING!

At last someone who knows something about footy....well done Disco Stu....this forum has been crying out for some thoughtfull insight in order to balance out the crap some write (i'm pointing at you Mexican)...

That's funny cause the majority of the forum seems to think you write a fair bit of crap, it took all of 2 postings before your newest mate "Chuckles" had a crack at you. As for poor form don't you report on the facts..?? Or maybe you don't like hearing them..??

do u know how R hamilton has been playing for them???[/quote]
Hamilton is playing in the midfield for Marion and goes ok. Neat footballer and hard at it but wouldnt mind betting that he dislikes Fidgey (coach) as rumour has it he's not too popular down at Ram Land. Anyone else heard this??

Haha - brilliant!! Go wineflies! :)
Its funny how Cove can be so good yet so bad against the M/Vales and Reynella's?
I'm sure other clubs who have played both teams this year would agree Cove definitely seem the better team... Guess Reynella have a mental hold over them. Last years final against Reynella - Cove put up a pathetic effort!!

Game was always in the balance i guess you could say some late goals are never a true indicator of what the game was like. Reynella are a good side and will take some beating but i think that we are upto it but we'll have to tighten up our game plan and keep the run better with their defence and midfield to get close. Theres always the old cliche That a lose can gain more then a win at least we have learn't more from this lose then a 50 goal win.

Reckon that was a huge game for Cove to drop. Wasnt it about this time last season that things started going pear shaped? Reckon the top teams such as reynella, M/Vale & Brighton will all be confident if they have to face Cove in September as i think there are doubts about how good they are when the pressure is really on. Think they have the reputation as flat track bullies at the moment.

Don't worry about the players come september I think its the Coach you have to worry about from what I understand Anderson hasn't coached a lot of finals and the ones he has haven't been too flash. Has a habit of taking a side with potential and leaving it with the same potential 4 or 5 years later i.e South Adelaide. Think someone down there thinks that big names win premierships! Also I've heard a rumour that Andersons contract is declared null and void if anyone mentions the word "finals" through fear of a mental breakdown is this true?
