If they set there cap at around 28-30 not 50 as it is now and started it in the earlier grades that would make it easy for kids to start and stay at one club. They may need to look at running under 8s,9s,10s,11s, and 12s like the metro south league. To have the cap at 50 every club will go out and try and field 2 teams, by reducing the cap it will share the kids around and all clubs would eventually have all grades.

Should The Sunday comp be played into clubs times slots that do not have juniors (eg Lonsdale) if these clubs have junior games on their grounds it could attract players to stay at that club so that they can field their own sides in future seasons. The sunday comp seems very tight and could draw crowds if they know games are going to be competitive and not have Demons VS Brighton, Valleys, Cove and so on these teams losing by 30 goals isnt going to attact crowds to the juniors at all

We are competing with Reynella, Morphett Vale and Cove for juniors which makes it tough as these are all powerhouse clubs......
Morphett Vale nabbed quite a few Hackham juniors after the league decided to run MV 2nd team on a saturday and relegate Lions/Hackham to sunday. Hackham had close to 40 players and now have 24 because these guys changed clubs. This is wrong and unfair ...... This all came about after Hackham actually beat MV in a U14 trial a couple of weeks b4 the season. Now i dont blame these clubs as the league officials are allowing them to destroy the weaker clubs.....
No other league works like this but the officials are too pig headed and scared of the larger clubs to stop it...... yet they would be happy to see a once proud and strong club in Hackham disappear

You don't know many junior players do you can you honestly say a kid is gonna go to a club that isn't his first choice to play against his mates won't happen big appeal of footy is playing with your mates take that away these kids won't enjoy it anymore and may even turn to some terrible things to fill the void i.e. Drugs, Alcohol and dare I utter it....
