Backliner wrote:hey a2m, Joel out for next 2 games (missed last 2 also), can't remember exact injury but will only miss a couple, we actually have enough numbers atm, I missed the Lonsdale game because too many players available, we had another 15 year old debut last week in the A's, kicked a nice goal too. Ben Martin had a run in the B's, first game back this year, tough ask this week Reynella away but no different to any other year. We'll just keep plugging away and hopefully improve each week.

We have 4 trainers now (Timmy back this week) and 2 others doing rub downs etc so off field looking ok after the way the year started. Catchya round mate

All sounds fantastic. Keep up the good work,Sharks :D

Just thought I'd share this photo of a very little Sharks fan - what a dude! He can't kick a footy yet but I imagine it'll only be a matter of time...

god dammit sledge come back to aldinga we miss you up forward!!! i swear you are one of the very few players I've ever seen that was able to turn a game off his own boot.

PS. The first quarter was decent - it just didn't look like it on the scoreboard. Aldinga need crumbers in the centre square.

What about Brycee 'Mungs' Garrard, I saw him on the TV the other night looking like an unwashed hippy,
surely he is still crumbing around the packs. Still seems to feature in the best here and there.
Not bad for an old timer.
What about Rohza Garrard? Is the big nugget still shuffling around down there?

Has the old-timer managed to land a missus yet or has his love for the Black & Gold.......and the green, been his only mistress.
Surely good old Tex Garrard is still firing up Scotty Palmer style behind the goals.
Every club needs a Tex Garrard.
Meanwhile when is the Southern league gonna sort its s-h-i-t out and revert back to 2 Divisions?,
must be tough to get slammed most weeks and be playing for pride in the 17th minute of quarter 1.
When I was down there, we played a few consecutive GF's against Kangarilla, sadly we lost them but
the premiership would've been just as sweet div 2 or div 1.

As far as I know Brad has stepped aside but has mentioned staying with the club and possibly assisting a new A grade coach (if wanted) or maybe having a year off. Brad is well liked at the club so hopefully he is involved next year.
