Firstly Asert you are a >edited< and have no idea what they were getting other than throwing bullsh*t which is something you are good at as everyone knows on this forum already so get back in your hole!
Yes Wes and Kingsley have returned to Port Lincoln to play for Malle Park, and they can do this due to relocation home after June 30th.
To say disappointing would be an eighth of the feelings I have towards this debacle. But I will leave it at that.
The worst thing about this me, the club put so much work into getting them over here and for this to happen is throwing a bit bucket of poo in our faces.
The house they were living in still has 4 weeks rent (over $1000) owing which again is a bloody joke and a discgrace they up and go leaving all problems behind.
Anyway that is enough they have gone for the rest of the year & IF and when they do return to the club there will be some dam strict guidelines and well covered out clauses that is for sure.
Moving on as they are gone and I have said my bit - not good enough - disappointing - furious - disrespected - enough said!!

And yet even with the Bilney boys in your team you have been horrible! Bout time you as a leader of that club realized that buying a team just doesn't work!

Even if you had all of your 'recruits' fit and healthy I bet you wouldn't have even pushed for a top 8 spot.

Reppoh-eht thanks for your input, and your ignorance.
It has not gone well at all this year and am not dodging that.
But to say with our full list we would not be doing a hell of a lot better is an ignorant call.
13 players out again this week - would hurt any teams performances
Yeah unfortunately spending $70000 has not worked

13 Players... At most other clubs some of those blokes would be available as they are able to push through a bit of pain for the love of their jumper, something not found at Marion.

And if your club had any depth at all, even just a sprinkling you would be able to cover these gaps when injuries do occur, an element which is missing in the majority of clubs who would rather pay their players higher rates than invest the money into their Junior System and build a successful club...

And I thought it was more like $100,000? L-)

You are showing some real intelligence mate.
Depth is not there you are right at the moment and something the club is working on.
To say we are not investing in juniors is again very ignorant on your behalf. You at our club to see the hard work that has been going on re juniours - no you aren't so shut your face on issues you know nothing about - shooting from the hip like a peanut.
Anyway there is no point getting into an argument re issues with our club with a half wit that is not involved with it.

$100,000 you say I thought it would have been more than that according to you as living with your head up your backside you tend to hear and see & smell plenty of sh&t!

Thanks for the kind words Juicy...

Hopefully you are as nice to your team when you are coaching them on Saturdays.

As long as you are happy with the way your club is heading that is all that matters, I look forward to playing against and beating Marion in every game from now until your club wakes up and smells the roses!

Mate, why would you ant them back if they are going to do this to you? Wes cam and played for you two seasons ago and then left you last year. He has now done it to you again and this timeleaving you with financial issues. It is not worth having blokes like that at your club if you want to create a better environment and future for Marion. It's a tough thing to do to change a culture at a club unfortunately though short term pain is long term benefit. Being a coach myself mate I know the issues you come up against and feel for you mate.

Juicy you just backed up my comment a sentence later by saying about the debt they left you. Why would it be maroons debt if they are on min wage. 1000 dollars for 4 more games plus whatever else on top. You seem a bit frustrated mate but as you said people hiding behind a user name is not the case here I'm happy to say it to your face next time I see u. No moderators to edit out what your happy to say to mine

I agree, yes he is a good player and on the field, off the field, gives very little other then negativity(by leaving like he has),which from what i have heard may have filted down to some tripe that has been rumoured about a core group! The environment starts with them, and in the long term, weather that core group is there playing or watching in the future, the club will benefit, and those who leave will be no better then those they disagree with! Hard decisions always find out those who are weak!

wes and kingsley, shamefull.

Are these your personal opinions or an outsiders perspective?

A string of unfortunate, unforeseen, unrelated incidents, including a shocking run of injuries, players personal life circumstances and on field form obviously has been a factor.
Too much finger pointing instead of blokes taking responsability.

"That club" "Their downward spiral" ????????

Loyalty is grown over years, by playing juniors at a club, working through the system and having a genuine desire to see "your" club succeed.
Maybe Petoe can tell us what is wrong, he seems to have a veted interest in our club?

my opinion wlf just just speaking as an outsider to try and maintaiin my hard to pick alias. 8)

word on the street has it that Wes Bilney had to move back to Lincoln due to the house he was renting was getting knocked down. Tried looking for alternative housing but in the end he had no choice........ not sure if this is in fact true or not.

Decided to head down Edwardstown way on Saturday to watch a game and get away from housework. Was interesting to see Marion actually putting up a fight this time in! It looked like you were running out the game strong, but a completly different side after half time, with the way the ball was moved! Who's number 17,looked lightning quick, and really tore it up in the 2nd half and few new faces i havent seen looking like they were having a real crack and really wanted to be there! The only other thing that was more competitive was trying to get a carpark within 2km of Edwardstown oval!
