Looks like something really special coming up this year for you guys. Aldinga Under-14's now look near certainties to make the Eight --- two wins inside at present with two more games against the lower sides over the final month.
Would be the club's first side in the finals since the two divisions merged.
Go Sharks !! It would so great to see that happen.

Great win for the Shark kids on Saturday against one of the two sides chasing them for their spot =D>
Looks pretty certain now --- two wins clear with two rounds to go ----- plus both the dangers have two tough opponents ---- plus the Sharks have the bottom side coming up in the final round.
Get ready for a bit of finals action boys !!

There is plenty of talent in the local school. I coached the SAPSASA team to the Southern District championship in June without losing a game. The problem is the Sharks need to hold on to these kids as you've lost heaps to Myponga, Willunga, and even Porties

It's a great effort by the youngsters. It's our first cycle from the rebuild of juniors about 4 years ago with the minis coming through. You're right the trick is to hold on to these juniors and with all that has been implemented over the past few years I feel that shouldn't be a problem These kids love walking around with their sharks gear on and it's a good feeling and shows praise for the people that have done the hard yards to keep these kids together.

First Aldinga Div 1 side to make the finals well done lads.

Great effort by all at Shark Park. Having been through similar at Cove, it can only be onward and upward for the Sharks.

Hopefully it will bring a few back from the GSFL for the club.

Yes that would be nice, but the focus is now on keeping youngsters not trying to "convince" kids that don't want to be their in the first place. We certainly wouldn't say no but having been at Aldinga my whole career I have witnessed many false hopes saying they would come back when that attention can be directed to spirited youngsters hanging around instead. Hey BJ??? Just stirring ;)

Although i'm a Cove man, I work with the kids at Aldinga and always promote the Sharks as the team they should be playing for. May help out directly with the juniors next year as I have been approached by parents to stir up some enthusiasm. I have coached a number of the U14's and will come watch them in the finals. Well done boys

Robbie Lish, Whoopee, Uren all havent played for bout 5 years (retired at 22) , Tim Heath plays at Myponga and David Heath playing for Aldinga. Lishy plays cricket, whoopee and Shane watch games regularly and have a few beers, think they're happy just being supporters nowadays.

Before I comment, as much as it pains me, the Hawks were much much better and their attack on the footy on Saturday was absolutley spot on. Congrats to them they deserved the win.

Mosar and Painey were fantastic all day and Blakes last quarter was sensational. It was very hard to stop a side that was "up and about" from the start.

I don't think there has been big expectations from Brad considering the amount of players we lost and the crop he has worked with. Brad has great plans and unfortunately our worst two games for the year were the last two, which will be remembered mostly. He said on Saturday night that his preparation starts tomorrow for 2010 and I believe him. He has great game plans and work rate and our efforts this year are certainly not a reflection on him.

Again well done Hawks it was a good hit out with some awful sledging from both sides and a bit of a pity to hear young lads not knowing how to be good sports, but thats footy. Still cant believe it.
