2 & 2......sounds really good!!!

Reynella just to good, Reynella only played good footy for the second half and thats all it took for them to smash the poor, week, stinky cockles.
Prescott with another 3 mail medal votes, what are his odds Petoe?? might have to put that $408.00 you owe me on him or you can just pay me the money any time soon.

Mr X wrote:Is Christies Beach the Richmond of the SFL. The messiah in coach Meekins is taking the club backwards and fast, but I feel it is the culture down at Bice that is and has been the main problem. Yesterday they didn't even put up a fight in the A grade, and their b grade didn't even score. Bachmann looked like the only A grader for the Saints, its going to be a long long year.

Meekins is far from "a Messiah"... Has all the credentials from the junior grades (as an ASSISTANT). His record as a senior coach is deplorable. I put a posting out a few pages back now to Saints 07 questioning if the rumours i heard about the job he was doing was unsatisfactory and received no reply. The reports are not good from Bice...

Morphy Parks are in big trouble, no solid junior program is where it starts. I tipped the Sharks last week and am very happy to see them have a win. Can't wait for the Sharks v Noarlunga game, reckon the sharks might be able to pull one off there to. The Emu's will never leave the SFL, make no mistake there are still plenty of contenders for this years flag. Cove, Reynella and Brighton cannot be discounted and maybe the Valley if they can turn things around.

Nothing wrong with the Loions winning a few games, after making the finals last year good luck to them, isn't that what footy is about, enjoying your wins because you never know when the next one is going to be, unless your playing Hackham...

Sweeny i couldn't care less who you love, just type like a normal person so we can read it easier, not that you have posted much of interest... Atleast "Franky" has a good sense of humour...!!

Yeah but when your judgement is so clouded by the Emus, how could he not be thinking about them??

Did well to win, noarlunga had 19 players on field most of the day, their runner, TBar, hardly left the field, quite often in the play, and getting in the way of lions players.

One shoes player, i won't mention his name at this stage, a veteran of the club i believe, played quite dirty, looking at the man a lot, and a few stray elbows. nothing really serious or that connected, but not necessary.

Also interesting to see Marty Clifton umpiring the match. He umpired quite well and fairly, last quarter was tense and his decisions seemed to favour the shoes a little, but overall quite fair. good to see past players putting in the effort to stay involved and become umpires. tough job

yeah i thought that cliftons umpiring was not to bad i dont think anyone could have been justified in saying that it was biased in any way. AS for the shoes yet another game where they fought their way back into the contest only to let the oppositin kick away from them again as they did with the cockle divers before being totally over run. One problem is that they dont really have any depth this year and when you start picking up injuries it makes it hard to cover them. Will be a long day this saturday at the bay against a rampaging cove.

"Franky" i did have your house on it, so it looks like your homeless.... again.... Petoe can take delivery of a fully furnished bungalow style 3 bedroom house situated on a large 380m2 block.... The Bombers haven't surprised, i do believe that game was a 50/50 going in, chose the Valley just to give it to you... of course. One thing about Brighton is that they are ultra competitive every year, never an easy game played against them.

Correct about Blackwood ringing Cove wanting him cleared back due them stuffing up!!!!
Hare went well he adds toughness and pace to there midfield so strong through the legs he stands up in so many tackles!!! There midfield looked really good heaps of rotations players spending time on the bench that last year had to play on the ball all day for them to win. This comes down to coach having confidence in some young guys to do the job for 10mins a qtr and at this stage, and yes against some of the bottom clubs, there standing up.

Marty Cliftons umpiring was alot better than you would expect from an ex player from the shoes, he didn't favour the shoes as a team, just a few ex teamates as there aren't many players left from when he played there. The previously mentioned ageing thug was one who got away with a few.

They both should be banned the kid worked his arse of to get there know he has to miss 6 weeks cose of 2 washed up losers who cant hack a 17 yr old standing up to em. maybe Christies should worry about playing because they where woeful yesterday didnt even put up an effort during the game.

why wasnt he wearing a mouthgaurd?

He was it were his bottom three teeth that were knocked out. Why would it matter anyways?what sort of tough guys knock out a 17 yr old. One only did it to after he was helpless in a headlock couldnt even defend himself! Christies are dirty saw a few dirties in the B's as well elbows ups hitting ppl when their not looking they should worry about scoring goals without the umpires help. Obviously the coach aint doing something right because they do have some masive units and gun players they should be alot more competive then they suggested so far this yr.
