Christies Beach have the best facilities out of those clubs mentioned and have a very strong and professional Mini-Colts structure. PM me and I will organise you and your son a tour around.

Well, Christies Beach have made finals every season that there have been finals in the U/10 grade. Unfortunately you have to go back to 1974 for the last time there were finals at U/10 level so I am not sure what your point is.
As for performance in the finals, our U/10s have never finished lower than 3rd (unless it was our second side) and Christies Beach have won the last two U/10 premierships, albeit in 1973 and 1974.

It was a lighthearted dig at your seniors. I think the original post may not understand that there is no such thing as finals, or even a carnival anymore unfortunately. Lighten up, it's the off season... Plus if I had to recommend any sub junior program, it would be Happy Valley.

and obviously I was being serious when I was discussing something that was achieved almost 40 years ago...

On another note, that little fact means that Christies Beach are still the reigning U/10 Premiers!

Sadly most of those reigning premiership players are long retired now. I do have to concede the reigning premiers point though. Some carnival teams will likely be reigning winners for 40 years plus too. I will have to wait for my carnival medal to grow in value now....

Happy Valley must have been devastated by losing all those players to Mitchell Park. In 2011 they lost 8 games and were knocked out in the finals. This year, they lost 1 game and won the premiership.

Addition by subtraction?
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

Yep. All that quality and leadership missing really had an impact on them this year. I'm sure Dent will be on the phone to them all begging them to come back.

Lights? Happy Valley wins on that count too. Brighton has a couple of blokes with torches, Emus have a few candles, but other than that not much going under lights.

Anyone heard anything about Brighton having 3 teams in 14s again in 2013? Whats the SFL stand on this?
Must have a lot of kids but do the SFL have any rules around this?
Are they putting 2 in Saturday or 2 in Sunday's comp? Do the SFL check how many players they have before allowing them to put 3 teams in?

I see tackling is being introduced to Under 10's, not sure I agree with it.
