My gut feeling is the Sharks will be inflicting some upsets this year, and finish pretty close (or maybe even inside) the Eight.

That would be quite a large turnaround, 23 goals in fact!

That was in 2008

Yeah Reynella beat Aldinga by 23 in 2008. So if Aldinga win in 2009....its a 23 goal turnaround

Involving what could be two very different sides. Turnarounds from year to year are no surprise.
Get ready HH, there might some 23-goal turnarounds involving the Hawks as well :D
My tip is they'll be far more competitive this year regardless of whether the win drought ends.

Well in 2008 we had some massive turnarounds from 2007....most games we halved the 2007 losing margins...32 goal turnaround in one case. We're not gonna say we're gonna win games but we are going to keep improving.

Love to see you crack one. Rome wasn't built in a day, but if you are heading in the right direction you'll make it in the end.
Really like the coaching appointments of both Aldinga and Hackham. Had a number of enjoyable conversations with Kerry when he was playing for the Flat and have always held a huge respect for his integrity. In my opinion, the Hawks have picked a good one.

Frita is a machine!

for those non-aldingians, a young chap Fritzy, he's only 14, came in at 13.2 on the beep test. pretty impressive by the young fella.

how are numbers out at aldinga pre-season? i know of a talented, skilful, fit young local lad in the aldinga area who's playing future is up in the air at the moment. you might need to do some research and get on the dog 'n' bone to him. could be a huge, huge asset.

getting a bit carried away comparing us to Reynella, IMO would be great to have a club like Reynella, even though they cop it on here, we're building the foundations so we can be like most other clubs, stable on and off the field, not a revolving door. Pretty happy with the way things are going committee wise and off field.

Any players are welcome in the Aldinga area, always have been, tell him to come for a run Wednesday night or pm Rodney Fox with some hints, getting about 30 at training now, dropped from 50+ due to the intensity of training, unfortunately a lot of guys have good intentions early but it gets a little hard for em because we have been doing tough sessions, should see those guys closer to round 1 though.

Mind you he trained with the 14/16's at 5.30pm, then the Seniors 6.30pm and we did beep test last!
