Yeah four goals in a team that kicked 8! Have Marion gotten better or has Reynella dropped way off, cos they only beat Marion by about 3 goals? Where does this bloke play? Is it McEntee (not sure on spelling)?

Also can anyone provide any comment on what its like at Marion underlights. Atmosphere, conditions etc[/quote]

Haven't been to a night game but best away game all year. Drinking pints indoors, elevated view, one eye on the footy, one eye on the TAB good stuff.

hacksville wrote:Can any of the lions or saints confirm the A grade game was umpired by christies club life member wazza ??? He played at the saints up until a couple of years ago and apparently was a 19th man on the field for the saints......blatantly cheated to get the saints over the line on saturday???

If so this is very poor form. Surely the league wouldnt let recently retired club stalwarts umpire their own team??

I saw the last half of this game and if you are talking about the short nuggety umpy, yes he did influence the result. I would say he would have been very welcome down at Bice oval Saturday night. The fact that Lonnies kicked 5 points in the last 1/4 didn't help their cause either. But the point is why is a past player umpiring his old team in the A grade, thats just wrong.

did hear last night that even the umpires think the lights at marion are not up to having night games played under them hopefully not the case cause night games can be a good spectacle IF you can see them. Noarlunga played under lights against the emus in a trial and it was terrible to watch cause the lights were shit
