I jogged past training tonight, looked like you had about 25 blokes on the track. When I went past, you were doing a fitness exercise circuit in what looked to be small groups.

Are you boys getting much time with the balls (two sessions this week) at training or is training looking like its more about building fitness/conditioning?

hey IP, ya should have come in and seen the big bang, seeing as you missed him when you came out over xmas!!

yeh, had 33 track tonight, with a few sitting on the sidelines and a few still not back from holidays.

we're doing a fair bit of conditioning and fitness, but also bringing the pills out and doin full length exercises so we're still gettin plenty of run in the legs, coz the 4840280km run for warm up isnt enough, cheers for that moyley!!!

Big Bang all this running ur doing can only help. However being fantastic long distance runners doesnt help if the talent isnt there. I read about the pick up of a full forward, sounds positive. Are the new faces at the club going to improve the side considering the player losses you have had?

plans are to get fitness 2nd nature then build on the ball skills a bit later in the pre season. After doing it the other way round the last few years and finding myself to buggered to worry about where the next kick is coming from hopefully this will be a nice change of scenery. As far as the new faces go everyone seems to be there to play some footy and make new mates, rather than chasing a buck. In my opinon thats what builds a footy club not just a few cameo wins with 2 or 3 stand outs.

Grovesy goes alright just ask Russell Hart (after he steam rolled him in a training drill). Could definately do with some conditioning tho. Cricket season is a bit to relaxed for every1 so who can blame him

Get behind keeping vehicle access to the beach because if they are shut this will have a detrimental effect on the local community groups and clubs
