So now that mymumlovesme can't defend him, what do you guys think of Shane Lynch as a coach. Heard a few of the Onkas boys already don't think too highly of him.

Ha ha yeah i think a few of our local boys bailed pretty early in his first years at aldinga.
Thats not to say he put a winning attitude back in our heads and now with brad who is a quality coach by the looks of things hopefully we will be turning things around once again in 2009

I think with the numbers they had at their first training any speculations will be quickly shot down. Nearly 60 on the track, surely that has to be a good thing. Once Lynchy settles in he'll make a great person to have around up there, I hear he is still sponsoring the Sharks a fair bit  .......hey Lynchy ha ha :-bd

50-60 is standard for first night trainings at Strong Hills Central clubs.

Where'd you hear that? :)

KP, you were on the money. Simon Stead signed with Meadows about 3 weeks ago. I knew about it the day after he signed but I promised him I wouldn't say anything on here about it, he wanted to talk to the club first.

I know I got a bit hot under the collar a while back about the rumours he was going to Meadows, but at that stage I am pretty sure he wasn't even thinking about leaving Aldinga. It was only in the last month or so he mentioned he'd been talking with Adam Walden and was considering going to Meadows.

Anyway, I reckon everyone knows about this already but I thought I'd clear it up just the same.

Aye, point taken. I can't say too much else on the subject - I back Steady up all the way, if you can't rely on your missus who can you rely on etc. - but I wish things had been handled differently.

Was not exactly a huge surprise was it lets face it. The rumour was dropped on this forum half way through the season and continually denied by all parties, when everyone else knew he was going to Meadows. Thats not causing trouble for anyone but just stating a fact. Was never going to happen etc, etc but look what happened.
