Yeah got home late one thursday night and the bloody cat had eaten my tea. The plastic was folded back so the boys reckon the missus must have folded it back so the cat could get it.
I reckon we all can relate to upsetting our better halves by being late on a thursday after a few quiet ones.

Lions will be around the mark again and i suspect it will be a good game...
Watch out though our ground is hard as a rock so probably not ideal lead up to round 1 ...

Lion Heart by "around the mark" do u mean a chance for the flag? or do mean around the same mark as the last coulpe of years? , which is just sneaking into the 8, and not getting close to any teams above u.

Yeah i meant battling for the 8 again ..... but give us some credit we have beaten teams above us .... infact since div 1 and 2 merged we have beaten all teams bar Brighton, Valley, Cove and Reynella ... and b4 you ask yes we did beat Morphett Vale in a huge upset 4 seasons back !!

how are flagstaff travelling in the trials?
heard matt walton is playing out there, he is a far better player than his brother.
saw them both play, pat has speed but no skill whereas matt a bit more complete.

Porties ended up winning by 9 goals kicked away in last 10 min of game. was a pretty good hit out for us missing our spine yesterday though 4 to come back this week looking forward to season now

Watched Lions v Lobethal trial match and Lions were impressive

S.F.L is a lot quicker league than Hills and it showed in the way the Lions toyed with Loby. Lions were 7-8th ranked S.F.L team vs 6th ranked Hilss team and these teams were poles apart.

Christies way too good for Noarlunga. Noarlunga to be a bottom four side very ordinary.

not saying that hills is better than southern, but loby are a very old side this year and have lost alot of players, loby will not be to good this year.
morphet vale were a very strong side and disposeed of bridgy by 18 goals in the a grade.

Christies Beach moved the ball well. Noarlunga missing Comer in ruck and it showed with Christies winning 90% of centre clearances.
Shoes have plenty of work to do especially on fitness levels. nearly four weeks since m/vale trial so match fitness should improve.
Happy not to be playing a top four side straight up.
