Eagleman22,last night having a few frosty's with the lads at the Shoe and the topic of Hilly coaching Mclaren came up with some interesting points. How many seniour coaches have been and gone in the past 6 years? names that came up were Twigden/Spinks/Mitton/Bache/Klomp/Jaggard/Hill. why such a large turnaround?
Also there are behind the scene backers that pull a lot of strings and operate above the coach on selection and other football operation matters?
GOOD LUCK HILLY? :)

Fabian Francis has been offered the Christies coaching job, will be thinking about it over the weekend and then telling Christies of his decision.

Shoe Boy those quiet ales at the shoe must have turned into quite a few Twigden Spinks never have coached at Mclaren. Mitton lasted only 1 week but your right there has very little stability for a few years. Hopefully this is the right choice to get that.

Shoe boy I can answer this one, Twigden & Spinks were both premiership players at the club, they never coached at all. Mitton was appointed but pulled out as there was some discontent with a few of the players (who ended up leaving anyway). Bache had 2 years, along with Jaggard, who are both good potential coaches, and will coach again down the track.
Didn't Bache coach your club for only 1 year and got the can, what happened there??

Roo32,As for Tod got the can? I can tell you that is not correct.Bache was and still is held in high regard at the footy club and when reviews came around at the end of his first year Tod could not commit to the next season,so club and Tod parted ways in an amicable manner.

OK, you Winefly's out there, answer me this... I stated many many weeks ago that my "close" source to your club informed me that Evans would not be there next year, you denied this all year and now this is the case, did he have the players backing..?? I am now being reliably informed that some "senior" types are wanting a major influence in the selection of the new coach, needless to say all cannot be pleased, so some will leave some will stay regardless, however this uncertainty will make it diffucult to bring "ex pats" back... Perhaps Sitters and Smitherham will gain a couple other winefly's next year... My advice is to the players who read this... Pull your head's in, stop trying to run your club and take responsibility for your poor performances over the last decade...!!!

Hey Mex, is it true the Emus are considering applicants from overseas and one of their favourite sons has only just returned from a scouting trip?
