Most their team. Morphett Vale played their under 23 side. Noarlunga looked very ordinary.

good on ya ned reading ya previous posts i can tell that you arent a big fan of noalunga. Obviously morphette vale had the senior blokes from their side missing but dont you think the side that played friday night would beat alot of teams in the comp. I think noarlunga played ok in what i believe was their first trial with a fairly new team what with the departures from last year and the inclusion of the new recruits its bound to take a while for any team with that many changes to gel properly. Before you jump on me im not predicting the shoes to be world beaters this year just think that they would not have been too disapointed by that result

Has anybody from Flagstaff Hill got any info on Adam Rowett? I think he played a few games there last year.

I think Adam Rowett played for Birdwood (Hills - div. 2) last year - unless there are two Adam Rowetts.

It was a 6 quarter game and no official scores kept but salisbury west convincingly won the first 3 quarters ...... second half and especially last 2 quarters saw the lions on top ....... Both sides were seriously undermanned with a number of stars missing but was a good hitout played in good spirit

I tell you what Fabian Francis is still an absolute gun and everything he touched turned to gold !!! kicked a couple of beautiful goals .....

still havent heard anything on flaggies or marion ??? how are their trials going and have they recruited ?? Christies had a close trial against Morphett Vale apparently

Saw the Aldinga/Portland trial on Saturday - Portland won reasonably easy, from what i hear Aldinga had a few A graders out. Portland had 4 first choice players unavailable, so were near full strength. The early trial was Aldinga U18s v Portland U18s/B/C grade - Portland probably had about 7-8 U18s playing. Game ended in a draw, Aldinga's young blokes were impressive. If they can keep most of them, things look alright for the future. Some handy footballers amongst them. Overall, a good day, i think both clubs got something out of it.

i heard on the weekend that tyler harman will be away for the first 5 or 6 games this season and that lee blucher is no cert to play because of groin problems. Is ryan thiele still playing at the sharks and if so what grede.

Tyler will miss the first 7 games due to work will be a big lose for us early on. blucher hasn't trained much because of his groin trouble but coach expects him to be right for rnd 1. Portland won by 8 goals only first qtr was disapointing for us took us a bit to get going some good signs some ordinary signs 4 weeks to get it right and hopefully head in right direction this year.
