Not sure where Dallas Pitt is going - I didn't even know he was playing next year, so no idea. I don't know about the Talbots either - last I heard, Nick was talking to Meadows, but that was about two months ago. And to finish the list of fisho-doesn't-knows, I also have no idea where Dave Bickmore is headed. :)

Do you know anything FISHO

Harmon boys will sign this week along with most existing players.

B Grade coach is related to Joel Harman and Joel is keen for next year as is Tyler Harman, had surgery earlier this year on his shoulder and is playing cricket with no probs I hear.
Mark Walter played Souths juniors with Brad Whyatt and is keen to return for 2009, his dad was at the AGM, would only be aged 28 or 29.
Both 1 point players which could be handy for 2009

i think he thought about, and still may end up there, but if not, negotiations for a return to shark park are in full swing just in case he ends up knocking back the roxby clubs.

Rumors are surfacing of departures from Shark Park? Any truth? Hate to see the boys take a step back after the improvements over the past three years?
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

Several people are leaving, but hopefully it won't become too much of an issue. If Aldinga recruit well and if they get serious about training (this new coach sounds promising) they'll be all right.

2009 - Year of the Shark! :D

Then your b-grade would be only left with kids. Isn't a b-grader over 25 that isn't a few pies and pasties overweight

I have heard there is atleast 13 of your starting a grade leaving fisho, that's a few more than 7.

I said several, not seven. :) But you're right.

It's pretty s***, but it was always going to happen. And the positive is that it opens the way for the younger players to step up. Most of the ones that are leaving - yeah, they're good players, but they didn't get the Sharks into the finals, now did they? The way I see it, it's a good opportunity for Aldinga to rebuild the side. There are a lot of kids who didn't get much of a go last year and deserve the chance to show what they can do.

The bottom line is that you can't buy instant success - you've still got to put in the hard yards. I've been saying that all along. If Aldinga keep working to build on what they've achieved this year, they'll have a strong foundation for years to come.

HARD PRESEASON!!!!!!!!! (yeah, I know I keep saying that too.)

I think everyone is getting a bit ahead of themselves maybe?
Still alot of uncertainties for sure but I can assure you nothing that we are worried about, the culture is changing very rapidly in Aldinga and the club is very excited about the hard work the senior coach is putting in. I can say yes we will lose players but one thing is for sure Aldinga is past the stage of trying to hang on to anyone that does not want to play for the club and its colours.

We are entering a new chapter and from now on its going back to the way we remember, injected with pride and passion I can promise you that wether or not we take steps back to go forward or continue on we will implement something that has been missing for a while, pride in our jumper. Bring on 09.
