Both only won 1 game each...so they were as bad as each other. Interesting to read that Aldinga are already talking down there chances after being so vocal throughout this forum. And if the majority of their recruits only played C's and D's out at Blackwood, they cant be much chop can they?

Aldinga should be chirpy not very often there are 20 or so good A grade players at sharks training. The clubs looking at winning 5 or so games going on previous seasons that would leave us 1 -2 games out of the finals would not be a bad finish.

Most of Aldingas recruits this year have come from Henley or other clubs. Blackwood; only 3 or 4 this year.

Do you play for MVFC obviously not cos you would have said you won a premiership not played finals. No point making the finals if you have no effect in the Decider. All SFL teams should be happy that Aldinga have recruited this year only make the comp stronger. then again some clubs would like it the way it is, they look good when they play the lower sides and then brag about making the finals by winning 5 games.

That your proudest achievement? Not bad for a club slut.

How bout you tell us how your team is looking, you don't seem to mention them.
How'd you go in finals last year?
When was your club's last Senior Premiership?

Don't be shy champ

This is Brilliant...

I've played 100+ games in this league so I have nothing to prove to anyone... If I wanted everyone to know who I was and played for, I would have used my real name and not an alias... wait a minute everyone here has alias's?

I can also tell you I've played in more finals than Aldinga has in the last 15 years...
Wait have they played finals in the last 15 years?

I think you should wait until we see on field perfomances before giving everyone lip about how good aldinga will be this year!!

If we win 2 games this year we have improved - it's as simple as that

Ask Grant Thomas about making finals consistently, meant nothing to his club in the end.

In your wisdom what should we do, pull up stumps, shut the door so soccer can move in?

Thats what I mean - what sort of outlook is that... If we win 2 games its improvement?

Everyteam should be wanting to make finals, whether they finished last in 06 or not?

I noticed your coach in the messenger said, he wants to win 5 games?
Win 8-9 and your in the finals? Why not aim for that.... There's a losing mentallity at Aldinga and its going to take a strong group of players and coaches to break that cycle.... intead of paying new recruits money, I'd pumping everything into the juniors mate!!

check, if aldinga coach came out and said we will make finals this year we would all be laughing. If there can win 4/6 games great inprovment and good for league. The main thing is we all hope there have a plan to improve. I remember not long ago when morphy vale could not make finals Pottsy took over with a 3 year plan, knowing he could not turn them around straight away. I remember morphy just flooded and flooded 1st year and most teams took control 2nd half when there where tied. But over the next years improvement came with a game plan, also players improvement under coach. I am not involved at aldinga but support another team that has stuggled over last few years. Goodluck to aldinga we all hope you win more games and enjoy your footy.

Yeah we noticed the Flagstaff boys spending their Saturday afternoon watching an Aldinga trial game.

Did you notice our 15 year old ruckman (number 20, rucked 4 quarters), that kid will be good for Souths U17's today too.
I thought our U18's (13 of them) did well against Mitchell Parks senior sides (they don't have U18's)
Anyone who rocked up got 2 or 3 quarters and was the U18's first quarter with some seniors then a mix for the rest.
13 of our 30 odd were U18 so I think our U18's coach was happy.

All in all I was happy with it myself.

NO one from Aldinga should be happy with yesterday's result! fair enough we had alot of U/18's playing but all-in-all we played poor. We as a club need to stop making excuses for losing. Mitchell park beat us easily yeaterday our better players struggled and our 2nd tier players didn't step up to the plate, they have to start doing it soon, and to top it off we lost a few key players to injuries NOT A GOOD DAY FOR SHARKS! Move on to next week....

Not making excuses telling it how it was. If it was 18 on 18 A grade and we got beaten convincingly I'd be upset. Yesterday meant jack shit to me, I didn't play well I thought but I'm over it. We know we need more fitness and communication. WTF is the point of trial games if you don't experiment or give everyone a go.

Looks like the Happy Valley boys had a good time at their preseason camp up at Macclesfield on the weekend but the Maccy Hotel might need some new carpet in the front bar after one of the lads decided he couldn't hold his mushrooms and carrots in any longer.
