With C grade and i assume the 14's and 16's starting this weekend and the mini's the week after has anyone got any idea as to when the league may find time to release a draw for these grades?

Spoke with our mini league rep who went to the meeting tonight and apparently another team pulled out so there will be a new round 1 program sent out tomorrow and the full program will be delayed again.

Sounds like a nightmare and not the SFL's fault if clubs are pulling out days before the season starts.

Cant work out why Noarlunga and Porties are in the "North" division though :?

Lonsdale were in the North group last year as well. That's the group which plays before the under 14s and under 16s. Apparently something was said last night about Lonsdale and Noarlunga switching groups in the new draw to balance out the byes, so some teams might be allocated to groups just to prevent there being more byes.

Combined Aldinga and Christies side? Seems to be a few like MV Cove, must be those that couldn't field two full teams.

Where are Edwardstowns mini's.

I am am continually amazed by the decisions the SFL make. I have no objection to BDOS or any other club entering 3 mini teams it is a great reflection on the club and the people involved to have so many kids. What happens when they get to 14/16 level and the SFL put hurdles in the way of clubs fielding 3 teams. After allowing them to do so for the previous years.

If you cant do it at that level what is the point of allowing it at mini level. Where are the kids expected to go after playing at a club for upto 6 years? SFL are at present a disaster zone with regard to junior footy.

Ignore my post above, misread the team names. Still seems it may be a combined Aldinga/CB side??
