Cheers for that! Now knowing which is which

1- Bachmann
2- Beeching
3- M Reavill
4- B Bayley
5- toss up from a large number here on- eg Johnstone, Vick, Bradshaw and so on
Sorry to edwardstown but dont really know enough about u.

Would these little midfielders be as good in weaker sides? Or with weaker ruckmen?
Short, Brookman and beeching are sure to make u look even better.

Interesting point there Kart Horse!
Have to agree but in saying that you would have to also take into consideration the fact that these players play their part for their teams, if they all ran around doing there own thing then i wouldn't think they'd be quiet as successful... Ultimately that is the difference in the stronger and weaker clubs, the top players strive to be even better by training and working hard whereas the less successful clubs have a culture of 'i'm already at my best, why would i need to train' etc etc... Believe me, i see it first hand!

Yeah i know they would all still be good players but maybe brayden might only get 20 instead of 30 touches without Short or Reid feeding him. Same with johnstone and brookman. With gill out maybe Vick is prooving he is still that good as i dont know their other ruckmen

Yes I'm bias but Toddy Johnstone is clearly No. 1 in my book and surely should be top 3 for anyone else on here. If I was a chick I'd have his child. Then again I'm not a chick so I'll settle for a reach around.

Cyclops, who are you kidding with Emu's occupying the top 5. Its a wonder they lose any game with those rankings. And Farrier and Sampson ahead of TJ and Vick. Give me a break. Beeching is no doubt a great player but I have never seen him have a really big one against Brighton so hard to judge him. Bennetts has to strut his stuff consistently for a bit longer before he can be compared with Toddy and Vick. Lets vote again after all the big guns play each other in the final rounds and finals. I think some judgements have been clouded during the mid-year slaughter period.

My top 5 are

1/ R.Beeching - Emus -
2/ T.Johnstone - Bombers
3/ S.Mckenzie - Vikings
4/ N.Bayly - Emus
5/ J.Vick - Cove
S.Pollard -Emus
B . Mckeough - wineys - these 2 very stiff - best full forward and half back going around in the comp

I have based this on form over a couple off seasons not just this season as think good players perform season in season out.Alot of good players i have not put in here - C.Smith - Emus N.Manhood - Porties J.Ramsay - CoveB.Brookman - Bombers the list could go on so it really comes down to personal opinion and lets face it we all see the players from our clubs the most.
Beeching as no1 for the reason of bring a genuine match winner
While not

Number 1 for me is the new recruit for the Flies.....?.

Then Todd Johnstone (bias)
Vick, Milo, Gaskin (better than Beeching)
Polly is good but has had it good for so long.
Tedmanson probably best contested mark.
