Ando can be a soft talker, the bloke used to cut his fringe in the basin before running out to every game he played. Dirty bastard would leave hair everywhere!

I've heard from a fella who is associated with Gaza FC that Ando was a shit coach and even got into a bit of trouble because he apparently was giving some of the players pain killer injections? Don't know how true it is but apparently Andrew Jarman had a go at him because of it for the reason that Jarman was sending players who couldn't make the reserves at the roosters back to gaza so he could "keep an eye on their performances" cos as we all know the jarmans are from Gaza.

I dunno if there are enough pies up in Darwin for the Meekins. That means that Christies would lose there highest paid player....... the coaches son, which if they knew he was there highest paid player they would be happy to get rid of him after last years performances!!

Well they had fair side out there....Josh Ramsey, Bert Taylor, Craig Bevan...they should have done a lot better than they did...? I know Padroth wasnt there... who else was missing?

Must admit I did hear he wasnt the best talker, maybe a shit coach aswell (vaguely remember hearing that) but highly doubtful he would even know how to administer injections, plus if a coach told a player to jump of th clubrooms roof head first Im sure he wouldnt. Players know what they are doing and if they were taking injections to get up and play I doubt they'd be forced into it.

I agree, Reynella will drop off a bit this year... I don't think Cove or Happy Valley look as good as they have been either?
You'd expect Brighton and Flagstaff Hill to challenge a top 4 spot this year!

Flaggies top 4 what planet are you from, they only finished in the top 8 because they played all the bottom teams twice marion, aldinga, hackham, otherthan that they beat m/ville, osb and c/beach and on that day c/beach kicked 22 pts, they would needed to get a few more players to move up the ladder. Lets see how they go when they have to play the top teams a bit more.

Flaggies Finished 12th the year before...and lost to most of those teams....it's called improvement!! Where were cove a few years back... and back then they looked worse than the current FHFC!! In time they'll be up there... Same with Lonsdale... they still a fair way to go though... Noarlunga will be down again this year.

The real test is making finals consistantly, most teams when given the easier draw can make the finals only to fall just outside the year after when playing the harder draw Examples..... Christies Beach, Noarlunga, Port Noarlunga

Cheech the side Cove put on the park in the last week of the 20 20 final against Edwardstown was the best one they put on the park for the whole comp and surprise surprise they beat Towns after being beaten the week before when they played there B gradeagainst Towns. The side Friday night was still missing: D Reavill, Scott Gill, Josh Vick, as you said Padroth,Luke Weidermann Troy White and a couple of there new recruits missed and no doubt a few other less known fringe A graders.......As you said a fair side they had on the park Friday night well add these 6 players and i think your talking about a really fair side. I think you will find they will improve on last year and i read on here someone say Cove and HAppy Valley weren't as strong.....Your a game person they will both improve!!!!

Can't see Reynella Young'ns stepping up straight away? 99% of FHFC A-Grade are under 20 years old - And they finished 7th last year!! And Cove already stong in their As + the u/18s coming up... it's scary how good they could be? I have to admit Cove didn't look flash in the 20/20 though (No Padroth?), Plus Anderson didn't really impress me, bit of a Soft talker? Guess we'll see.... Brighton are consistently good - with consistently good juniors.

The young talent Reynella will be getting is the junior players they have that played south 19s last year but wont make the league or reserves this year. 5 or 6 of them are still at south doing the preseason and will be out at Reynella soon.

Vick Rumour?

Postby Cheech » Tue Mar 06, 2007 4:10 pm

I noticed in the 20/20 boot that Vick wasn't named, but the other Non-playing Cove payers were?

Has it been officially announced Vick is coaching Cove u/16s?

I know I hate talking about Aldinga but...
Does anyone know when and who they are playing against for trial games?

I'd be interested to see how this "new look" team goes?
