Massive news to hear. I'd heard disturbing rumours this weekend of a mass exodus from the Sharks but this should keep most of the 2008 crop together. Lynchy's good work must not get wasted.

If lynchy has been appointed coach of the hawks would many follow or was it hart that got all the recruits out there and will stay with him.

Gday guys just wondering the general opinion seems to be that Shane Lynch has done a good rebuilding job why are the Sharks parting ways with him?

I don't think that is true I heard he had been offered a couple of jobs in the other southern league down that way, with 2 very lucerative offers, can anyone confirm weather he has taken one of those jobs...

navy, i been at the club 6 years now, and lynch has done good for the club. although, with him leaving, if too many players leave then anything shane has done will be gone. pretty much a band-aid, just a quick temporary fix. but if a majority of the boys stick around for a few more years, we should start to reap the rewards of what he's done.

just my thoughts.

a few people have some very different views

From all reports there are a few clubs after his srevices for next year, just wondering if anyone knows exactly how far talks have gone and what aldinga feel their chances are of this being a reality next year?

This one came up again in the rumour mill, if Lynchy is going to christies this might have more truth than people first thought! Can anyone down at the sharks shed any light on this? Or anyone else around the traps heard anything? Maybe someone like No Mercy might know, he seems to have his finger on the pulse of a few issues, might even know Scott from Henley days!

The trojan, i happened to catch up with him just over a week ago at the footy & we got talking over a beer & i just slipped in the coaching word & he indicated nothing at this stage ( coaching ) really interests him. he's enjoying watching his magpies both SANFL & AFL aswell as some Amateur Footy.

No Mercy, the question that was asked was weather Scott Hodges has been approached to coach the sharks, not if he was considering going for it. No Mercy, get back on the case for us and find out the info we all wanna know. Cheers!

No mercy, can you find out if its true that scott hodges wouldn't take on the job for less than 12G's?

I don't know who has got the Job, I hope Harty does, I rate him its harty who had the ideas at Aldinga not Lynch. The only time training sessions were interesting, Challenging and structured was when the B Grade coach and Harty took training, Lynch only knows how to talk himself up. The most wins Aldinga got in Lynchs first year was 1, then Harty came along and the wins became multipal.

Although that maybe true, i remember when aldinga used to go without a win at all, so 1 is better than none!
