The World Game

World Club Championship

Postby David Votoupal » Sun Dec 11, 2005 7:06 pm

The matches:

1.Al-Ahly (Egypt) vs Al-Ittihad (Saudi Arabia)
2.Sydney FC (Australia) vs Saprissa (Costa Rica)

3.winner 1 vs Sao Paolo (Brazil)
4.winnee 2 vs Liverpool (England)

Sydney FC will find it hard against Saprissa, who are Costa Rica's leading side but it's still a winnable contest. The perfect chance to put the Australian club game on the map internationally.

Al-Ahly will be favoured against Al-Ittihad, and why wouldn't they after an ongoing phenomenal winning streak in both domestic and continental championships.

Al-Ittihad beat Al-Ahly to ensure a place in the semi and end Ahly's amazing winning streak. Saprissa a goal up against Sydney FC as I speak.

Sydney FC were extremely wasteful in front of goal on the night. If they could put them away it would've been different. Now they face a wooden spoon play-off
