Down to Serie B with a 30 point handicap before the season kicks off.
Expelled from the Champions League and stripped of two titles (2005 and 2006.)
Carlton and the Bulldogs thought they were punished for salary cap rorts...

What a disgrace these Football Clubs are. No penalty is too harsh. Makes a complete mockery of the game.

absoloute disgrace, should have been banned from the competition altogether IMO.
Are FIFA looking into the performance of the recent world cup???? if a french lawyer gets his way the result will be nullified and the final replayed because of alleged use of video evidence by the fourth official in the sending of of Zidane.

Remember seeing highlights of a 2004 Serie A game on SBS when Juventus unexpectedly lost 4-3 to a team that was fighting to avoid relegation to Serie B. Was some of the worst defenive play by Juventus that you would ever wish to see and I must admit at the time that I wondered whether something like match fixing was the reason. Another factor was that teams like Juventus just don't concede 4 goals to anyone in the very defensive orientated Serie A.

I wonder what the other clubs that are in the Serie B are thinking.

Lots of court time coming up. Some may yet avoid the relegation but will lose all their players in the meantime. Going to be a very open market place now.

Seems they got a slap on the wrist compared to the others, when there was no mention of any difference in the offences committed by all four ... That in istelf appears suspect aswell ...

ALL English clubs were banned from Europe for five years for hooliganism.
For vastly different reasons, match-fixing is just as bad.
Reakon the Italian clubs have got off lightly.
