Another ref blunder mars the World Cup.

Rooney's send-off was harsh - apparently the ref, who was only a few feet away, got the call from the linesman.

Can't help but think Rooney's reputation counted against him.

England - nerves of steel...wool.

Interesting MP ... I personally thought he deserved the benefit of the doubt, as surely one couldn't with %100 certainty say it was deliberate, however opinion is divided in the UK on a pretty massive topic!

That aside, the Poms had their chances, probably none better than Lennon (sp?) late in the game!

You gotta wonder whether the Pommies tabloid mentality of bagging the crap out of failed sportsmen has anything to do with their continual wilting in high pressured moments in the spotlight??

Wonder if Ronaldo's declared interested in a move to Real Madrid has made hastened progress after his behaviour the other night?

if he doesn't leave Man U, i don't think that him and Rooney will be sitting next to each other on the team bus next year.

Wonder if they had the plane booked before the game for the day after, maybe they knew something we didn't.
