Lads I had a bet on the Southport v Swindon a league one game scheduled for 1/12/09
The game was postphoned
I had a bet on Betfair
They have told me my bet stands for 72 hours
How does one find out when this game gets rescheduled ?

For someone who rarely posts in this forum I am amazed you are actually betting on League One!

I would keep an eye on: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/footbal ... efault.stm

As soon as an announcement is made I assume it will be headlines on there as their news is solely League One based.

In the Coke Championship (the div above) not long ago Barnsley were leading 4-1 over Plymouth when the game was abandoned due to weather in the second half and it will be replayed from the opening minute... just be thankful you didn't chuck a few pounds on Barnsley in that game.

I think one of the Barnsley players picked up a yellow in that game which has counted and he will now cop a suspension yet the goals don't count as well as the players who were suspended from that game don't get one game removed from their suspension. A bit ridiculous really.

Thanks for the reference RM
I will just have to keep checking the soccer sites for the next 48 hours
I think Southport are playing a scheduled game on 5/11 , so this game will get deferred at least a week + ?

Barnsley were robbed
They had a certain win taken away
And yet the yellow card is applicable

There was a SK V ES AFL night game a few years ago
the lights went off with about half or one and a half qtrs left
they replayed the remainder of the remaining time mid week
That sort of made sense
Differenet players were selected
No obvious solution, but thats what happened

Rather than Barnsley plaing a full game
Why dont they play the remaing time
A its fairer
B players play less time, will benfit them if palying another game soon after
C replay the game but have the 4-1 included at the start ?
D ?

The rules are the rules Mal. It doesn't happen too often and you take the rough with the smooth.
