Came across this today and i couldn't believe anyone would take a loss that hard, Maybe if the players knew this could happen they would of tried harder?

That is a stupid statement. FFS despite how much you love your team etc it is still only a game! The players don't need the added pressure (or insult) of having to try harder in case someone tops themselves!

Lucky he wasn't a Derby supporter otherwise he wouldn't have seen his 10th Birthday....

Maybe i should have asked if it would effect a players performance if they knew this could happen?

Got pissed
Cried some more
Got even pisseder
Fell asleep pissed and cryiing

As for players trying harder. You have to have some psycological problems to press the button because your team loses. FFS it's only a game, no matter what sport it is.
