Hooray for SBS !!

Adelaide should be the shaggers, then I think they could give Gamba a real shock.
They'll have Salley, hopefully Ago & Alemao in the squad....

BRING ON MAN U !!

I seriously doubt we will get close to Gamba this time unless they are completely off their game or send a weakened team.

They totally outclassed us.

I just want to smash the arrogant pricks from NZ then get this thing out the way. It is good money I guess but we have no hope of winning it unless Man Utd send their under 15s (who would still beat us probably). Get this out of the way and then concentrate on winning the A-League.

Adelaide United have never gotten close to Gamba Osaka.

Yes I know that....

If Endo is injured we are half a chance.

Over two legs it is easy to see that a side is more dominant. This game will be played over one leg, which means United has a chance if Osaka are slightly off their game. Im not saying they will win, but they will have a better chance. Plus they dont have restrictions on the players that they can use this time.

Good to see Osama Mali & Marrone from the youth team in there.

Cornflakes won't get a start, they'll do;

Galekovich
Mullen, Ognenovski, Costanzo, Jamieson
Alemao, Reid, Dodd, Cassio
Cristiano, Agostino

Diego, Salley, Cornflakes, Younis

Well that's what I hope :D

Two up front? I doubt Vidmar will be that attacking.

True, may have to seek out my "contact" and ask him what the hell's going on with the 'lone" striker theory !!

They have EPL games on Dec 13 and Dec 26, so I really can't see them sending anyone from their first 22.

Agree too, winning the A-League is far more important.

Just For People that are Curious to show the Difference Between Adelaide United and Waitakere United.

Waitakere United played a friendly against Wellington United and wellington won 7 nil.
Take in the 6-1 score in the Adelaide and Wellington game last week

The betting on the Score only goes up to 5. i put money on Adelaide (Scores Not Quoted) paying 11 dollars so i hope they score 6 goals or more

Hope Viddie sticks with the 4-4-2 formation against Gamba if it comes up,better than the 4-5-1 formation we had before. Looked to be the first time we done it all year the other night and look what happened. Also Galla,Salley, Costanzo, Mullen all available this time round and we will not be physically shattered like before. I reckon it will be a different Adelaide United if we play them again. Also look who's top of the J-League atm?? Thats right Kashima Antlers who we have beaten ;-)

Cassio won't play, but I reckon they'll give Agostino a run in a 4-4-2 as I predicted earlier. Worked a treat last week.

Ago & Cristiano up front with Doddy slotting in behind them...yes please :D

Just seen the Manchester squad to fly out to japan on the weekend, the Mighty Sir Alex Ferguson wants the cup and he is taking pretty much his full strength squad. Would be great for Adelaide to progress that far and rub shoulders with the best team in world football.
The mighty Man U squad flying out is:
Goalkeepers- Van Der Sar, Kuszczak,Foster
Defenders-Neville,Evra,Ferdinand,Vidic,O'Shea,Evans,Rafael
Midfieldrs-Ronaldo,Anderson,Giggs,Park,Carrick,Nani,Scholes(supertar),Fletcher,Gibson
Strikers-Berbatov,Rooney,Tevez,Welbeck.
