FT
Shakhtar 2-2 Dortmund
Real 1-1 United
Good result over there for us, hopefully we get some refs in the 2nd leg that wont let Madrid get away with their dirty tactics, the ammount of shirt pulling today was unbelievable

Nah we trip or tackle illegally.
Van Persie had guys hanging off him all game, at one stage he was running with two defenders holding his arms.
Oh well we are in the box seat, they have to come ti OT and take the game on

Great result for United, I was expecting a loss and was hoping we would grab an away goal so to take a draw away from Madrid is magnificent.

Yes they have to chase the game at OT now, they have to score we dont.
We can afford to defend sensibly and hit them on the break, a couple of their defenders looked very slow today so we can definately expose them on the break

I can see them scoring once though so we will need 2 to win it I feel, RVP had a great chance to win it but Real also had their fair share of chances. Nice header by Welbeck and Ronaldo's was amazing - his technique in the air is second to none. Nice of him to not celebrate too, he also had a chat to the United boys in the rooms after the game. Good to see DDG have a good game in a big match too.

Just watching the highlights from the other game now, how was Lewandowski's goal? Funniest I've seen for a while, for it to happen in a UCL KO game makes it even more hilarious.

Ronnie spent about an hour in the United rooms, still loved the club and the fans will give him a standing ovation whatever the result in the return leg.
DeGea pulled off a couple of world class saves again today, he still looks a bit lost at corners but is one of the best shot stoppers going around. Really happy with Jones today, top game and now hopefully the injuries are behind him and I see him as a long term star for United.
Lewandowski's goal was hilarious, will be shown for some time

In all honesty how can it not be...i don't care which team played barca if they got that treatment i would say barca cheated and the game was fixed.
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

Arsenal get a lucky break and pull one back.
Corner incorrectly given to them and Podolski is left alone to nod it in.
Bayern's first goal conceded in 2 months in any competition
