We have seen how Real Madrid have tried the same and won stuff all, no matter how much the stars are being paid they all want match time. City has always been a loser club with a loser culture all the money in the world wont change that

Few things yes all the money in the world will change that - see blackburn 94/95 (7-8 years of heavy investment and they won the league) and also that same Real team won the league and the Champions league (wouldn't call that stuff all, certianly not as much as they wanted but the wont complain about them either)

Now Mancini did lost it in his interview (not as much as AVB did in his :) ) and he has every right to he is the manager, they may even be talk that he has told Tevez to find his own way back to manchester as he wont be going with the team. I think they should let Tevez sit in the reserves untill his contract runs out and let him rot or sell him at the highest value they can get, because if they sack him its what he is after. Dzeko probley wont show decent again and I think no other player for them will as Mancini has said this will be the last time any player does something like either one of them did. (I would expect there will be repocussions) Mancini also said in his interview "carlos wont play for city again".

This will be a telling time for city, if the players react well to Mancini it will give him the power back in the dressing room and everyone will fall into to line, if they dont and it requires the owners to get involved things like this will happen again.

Btw before it comes up the story of the "lampard dummy spit" on the weekend is nothing but utter horse sh*t, they are trying to say because he left the bench early he dummy spat, when AVB told all the un-used subs to go change out of there playing kits and put on the practice ones as after the game the did some practice drills and lampard from all accounts look fined and not upset at all.
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

i know no one likes sitting on the bench, but these players are getting ridiculos amounts of money per game whether they are on the feild or not? Im sure i would love to be sitting watching on the bench and get $100,000 a week for doing that.

Yes i understand that players that sit on the bench dont get to play and they dont get world wide attention, but they are still getting paid for sitting on the bench or playing?? So IMO they dont have anything to lose, everyone likes to play, but when stupid amounts of money are being paid then why not sit on the bench and get the same amount as you would then if you were playing? Club is losing money....not the player.

maybe i am wrong?

Hearing reports that City have given Tevez a 2 week break. Apparantly the owners have stated they will not offload him and have told Mancini that he must pick him. This looks like getting very ugly as last night on TV Mancini stated that Tevez would never play for City again whilst he was in charge. One of them will be gone ASAP, question is which one?

Tevez suspended for two weeks whilst they decide what to do with him.
IMO get him out of the club asap. He is a rotten apple that will destroy the dressing room. Something Fergie recognised pretty quickly.

Club has to support Mancini and not some childish freak that needs an interpreter to speak for him despite living in the Uk for about 5 years.

Tevez is backflipping now though by saying it was all a misunderstanding. Yeah, course it was you self centred knobjockey

United very ordinary but got the points away at Otelul Galati. Vidic copped a straight red and we were left with 10 men for last 30 minutes, Rooney converted both penalties to get the 2-0 win.

Chelsea won 5-0 against genk and didn't bother to get out of first gear.....Meireles, Torres with a double, Ivanovic and somehow Kalou. the game was done 27 minutes in Chelsea where 3-0 to the good.

Magical result! Oh how I despise citeh and everything they stand for!

Edinson Cavani is turning into a brilliant player. Spurs were in for him after the 2010 world cup apparently. Wish we'd signed him.

Napoli have been great value in the UCL this year.

Both Manchester sides are on the verge of being eliminated.
We need a draw away to Basel to go through but City must beat Bayern Munich at home and hope Napoli dont win at Villareal.
Would love to see the City scumbags knocked out at first hurdle.

As it stands would be the best striker in Soccer ATM.

Not quite.
Chelsea and United only need to draw last game.
City's task is harder, they can win and still be eliminated if Napoli also win.

Awesome win by Napoli, now to finish the job against Villareal and get some form going in Serie A.
Cavini has got some form back now for Hamsik & Levezzi to start firing.

Thanks for introducing me to a great team to support dad, they would of made you proud on Wed morning.
I'm sure you had some sort of hand in the win, RIP mate
