Lol, a 1-0 win is the always the most satisfying win for the players. Also, the group stage is about banking the 3 points. You don't want to peak too early.

The Matildas would rightly be feeling absolutely over the moon, having won the first game of their home WC, in front of 75k fans.

Fowler and Luik to miss the game against Nigeria after both suffered mild concussions during training. Must be rugged training sessions.

They're commerative jerseys that are match specific. Their regular jerseys when not playing in the world cup won't have it.
Quite common but usually more common to have just the words of who's playing and where rather than flags.

That was the away kit. The way the fixtures are done we were the 'away' team in the group game.

We wore green and gold in the other group games.
