Shame that B@stard Viduka had to ruin it :D

Stan Collymore scored a few goals back in the day. I have a DVD of the best goals from the first ten seasons of the premier league and there are some absolute beauties on there. Especially from the likes of Shearer, Bergkamp and of course Matt Le Tissier.

Also if anyone can help, i am looking for the goal that Talal El Karkouri scored against Arsenal from a free kick about 3 or 4 years ago. I cant find it on youtube

I can remember back in the dim dark past, Tony Yeboah (sp?) for Leeds scoring a couple of absolute thunderbolts from about 25 yards out...though the distance may be increasing with each year past...

I also remember in the late eighties, trying to emulate Ronnie Whelan's volley for the Republic in the European Chamionships. An amazing volley from outside the 18 yard box direct from a throw in... All of the Pedare boys were trying to do them in the lunchtime soccer games, I think I nearly broke my hip or neck on more than one occasion....

 Gascoinge played for England MT. I think you might be referring to the goal he scored against Scotland when he flicked the ball of b4st4rd player Hendry, before planting in the onion bag. He went and laid on the ground by the goal whilst Teddy Sheringham pour water down his throat in a reference to the infamous "dentist chair" episode.

thats the one, i kept thinking scotland because he was with Gers in those days

Marco Van Basten for Holland in the 88? European Championships was the most technically brilliant goal I've ever seen.

Some others already covered here that I like are Bergkamps and Zelics goal.

Zola's inside heel flick was nice too.

That was an amazing goal, not only because it was from so far out but it broke Arsenal's long unbeaten record.

Commentator was spot on, "remember the name 'Wayne Rooney'". 8)
