Jamo had a crack with Bolton and played a pre-season game against Hibs. IMO, may get a gig back in the Championship, but couldn't see him make the EPL for a few years yet (only 20)....

Does anyone know if the Man Yoo / Gamba clash is being shown on SBS? If so when?

In regards to them not showing adelaide's last game i dont think you can be too harsh. Whilst i would have watched it i am not sure how many more of the nation would of. Aurelio has already said he will be picking his team with the next clash in the A-League in mind so if he is not taking it fully serious how can you expect the broadcaster too...?

Agreed. This is the final game in what has been a year long campaign by the Reds...and we don't get to see it. Disgrace.

Looks like Travis Dodd, Sasa Ognenovski, Cassio and Fabian Barbiero are all doubtful for the clash.

I'm more upset at the fact they aren't showing Gamba vs Man Utd, that would be a very interesting game and it's the Semi Final of the 'World Club Cup'.

Just saw Thiele's post as well, not a bad thing that they are in a bit of doubt.. hopefully nothing serious risking them in a pretty meaningful game really. Money and a bit of pride I guess is on the line. Hopefully they are fit for the more important A-League matches.

Agreed .. I have no direct interest in either team as you do Marty, but I was looking forward to see how Gamba fared against the might of Man U.

This is a quote from an article I read on another forum but I don't have a link unfortunately.

Incredibly, 220 nations will take the match live but Australia, which has one of the seven elite clubs at the tournament, won't be seeing it.

They should be showing all the games really; pretty ordinary. I like the fact that they will pick an understrength side. Hopefully they can still get away with a win and have some players fresh for the A-League. It will be good to be able to concentrate on winning that from now on.
Don't be scared. Now is not the time!

Adelaide won the game 1-0. Adelaide were completely defensive in the second half, but managed to hang on by their fingernails. So, two wins and a loss in this competition - a great effort!
