APOEL 1-0 Lyon, 1-1 agg, Lyon win 4-3 on penalties.
Barcelona 7-1 Leverkusen, Barcelona win 10-2 on agg
Messi became the only person to score 5 in a CL match, what an absolute champion

Gomez had 4 with over 20 minutes to go. I thought he was going to become the second player to score 5 in a game in the space of a week.

Bayern goals were ok but ive seen better defending at under 11's, the Basel players were like witches hats. Strange because they have defended ok in the comp and were great in the 1st Leg.
I left for work today in the 92nd minute of the Inter game and Inter were up 1-0. Later found out it ended up 2-1 with Marseille's 93rd minute equaliser sending them through on away goals

well pels going out playing 3-4-2-1 when you where 2 goals up didn't help, also your players gave away to many stupid free kicks in stupid positions and giving away a silly corner didn't help you guys either. Dosena was complete rubbish he did nothing but turn the ball over or give away free kicks for dumb reasons, otherwise both teams going at each other attacking was great and it was a great tie.
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

Add Aronica to that list and they both need to go.
Reading the match reports ( as I couldn't watch any match highlights as I was shattered) they defended set pieces poorly and gave away silly free kicks but had chances to score more than 1 goal.
Back to the Serie A now and get 3rd spot from Lazio ;)

Tommy Smyth the auld onion bag on ESPN claimed that of the 8 teams in the QF's, only Benfica didn't have a Portuguese player in their side. That's staggering!

Madrid v Barca final please.

Would love to see the Catalan's do a last minute number on the Chav's in the semi's again.

Chavs 1-0 Barca
Hand lead for the Chavs, only need to get a draw in the return leg to make the final. The way they played tonight its very possible
