Just seen the Manchester squad to fly out to japan on the weekend, the Mighty Sir Alex Ferguson wants the cup and he is taking pretty much his full strength squad. Would be great for Adelaide to progress that far and rub shoulders with the best team in world football.

I like how you single out Scholes as a superstar in that who's who side of football royalty.

It would be easier to single out the players who dont deserve superstar symbols. But yes Giggs & scholes have been great servants of the Premier League but unfortunately i think age is catching up with both of them. Provided many highlights over the years (especially Scholesy's tackling!!)

You couldnt help but laugh when that Brazilian (peterino??) came on. One jinking run that almost led to an equaliser. commentator then asks "why wasnt he starting on the pitch?" 2 seconds later the camera cuts to him writhing in pain on the ground before hobbling off.

I hope your right about the next game against Osaka Not scared but i think the japanese will be happy to sit back and let us have most of the posession. We gave away 2 goals over there last time by bad passing and i think we may have had more possession in both games. They continually attacked (exposed) Conflake last time so we cant afford to have him at RB in this game.

Giggs=legend. Remember that goal in the FA Cup Semi against Arsenal. Sensational.

I think you are right on Cornflakes. Mullen is a much better option than him in my opinion, so assuming Ognenovski is playing that is certainly the way I would go.

Having said the bit about sitting back, I hope Cassio, Cristiano and Dodd push forward early and take them on a bit. An early goal would be sensational.
