THE GREATEST DAY IN THE HISTORY OF OUR CLUB!!! :D

This is the most wonderful feeling - almost akin to when we made the Premier League.

Only 16 years ago, our club was on the brink of death - 2nd bottom of the 4th Div, lost away to bottom team Torquay.

WOW!!!

Thank You Mo.
Thank You Roy.
Thank You God (Roy again) LOL

COYWs!!!

Amazing once again. They now meet Atletico Madrid in the final.

Just on Hamburg's goal, do you think Schwartzer could have actualy saved it if he'd dived for the ball? It looked like he was either unsighted and saw it late, or just misjudged it.

All acedemic though after a couple of great comeback goals.

On another interesting note, this victory by Fulham has remifications accross Europe. With Hamburg knocked out before the final, the EUFA coefficiant for each league changes slightly, meaning that the winner of the Champions League final will actually earn their country an additional CL qualifying spot.

At the moment, Italy has 4 qualifiers and Germany 3. With Italy's poor results in Europe this season, their coefficient has fallen significantly and without Inters progression to the CL semi's, they would have forfeited the 4th qualifyer. However, now hhoever wins the CL final in May will bring the 4th qualifying spot back to their league.

I thought he was unsighted... cracking goal though.

The equalizer from Davies was a fantastic goal - control was sensational.

When they were in Melbourne for pre-season, my 10 yr old son was a mascot, walked out with Bobby Zamora, in full kit.

After match, got the shirt signed by nearly the entire squad + Roy. :D

Now has pride of place in 'the pool room'... hopefully next to photos of winning the Europa Cup!! 8)

Wonderful Day for the club...

Have to try & convince 'the boss' to let me go to Hamburg... don't like my chances :(

Schwarzer could have done better with the free kick but it was a cracking strike.

The equaliser for Fulham though. Fantastic control. Fulham's important goals in this run have been quality.

I'm all over the White bandwagon for the Final, what a story that would be.

Another twist in the tail. If Fulham win, Burnley will qualify for Europa

So come on Fulham

How does that work JTC ?

I'm hoping Fulham win, but if another fairytale can come of it like Burnley playing in Europe then even better.

I'm guessing it's to do with the Fair Play Table.

Spot on. We have a fair play league based on yellow cards, red cards etc. Burnley are 6th (shame it isn't the real league, but there ya go)/ All the other clubs above us have already / will qualify for either the CL or the Europa league except for Fulham. If fulham don't win the cup they will qualify via the fair play league, but if the do win the cup they automatically qualify as winners and Burnley would be the next highest finisher.

Come on Fulham. I'm looking forward to 1 weekend on the continent. just hope it isn't Ukraine :D

SHATTERED!!!

The Dream is over - had a great run but in the end (as if it was scripted)... a FULHAMISH ending.

So proud of Roy, The Boys & The Club... am gutted :(

Athletico played all over us in the 1st Half & in the 2nd Half of ET... deserved their win

No shame in losing, it was a fantastic effort to make the final and they can hold their heads high.

At least you played well and challenge them, unlike a certian team who plays the a-league when they made a final.

Great goal by ex yid to level the scores
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

back from the lightning raid on Hmaburg... Was a brilliant night - ok the result didnt go our way but I dont think anybody could question the effort and desire put in by the fulham boys - and fans! Atmosphere was amazing and according to most people I speak to sounded pretty good on the tele back here in England. Congrats to Athelico - deserved the win, quality of the forlan and aguero up front for them paid off in the end - pretty gutting to see the late winner and the despair on the Fulham lads faces - the reaction and response to the crowd was great and to see Pantsil sobbing as he thanked the fans was hard to take... anyway onwards and upwards - think everyone has appreciated the efforts of fulham throughout the europa league campaign and the little team from fulham has shown a few of the other english clubs how to perform in the competition. well done and thankyou FFC.
