Fenerbache fans tought they had won the league on the weekend after an announcement over the loudspeakers that Bursaspor had lost to Galatasaray. In fact, Bursa had defeated Gala 2-1, in turn claiming the title and leaving Fenerbache as runners up. So in their customary rage, the Fenerbache fans set fire to their own stadium:
